I don't have a link ATM, but the basic gist of it is this:
Trump buys up a bunch of land to make some huge development property and there's some old bat who's a holdout - they own a tiny, townhouse sized sliver of land right in the middle of this proposed development. Trump tries to buy the person out very generously, but they make it into a matter of principle and refuse to sell at any cost.

So Trump just builds the entire fucking thing around them in the space he does own. This person now sees walls out of every window of their home. I found it kinda horrifying as a kid, but older me thinks it's fucking hilarious.

The deadline passed like forty years ago, and a bunch of states revoked their ratification. You're going to need way more than four seats in Virginia's House to ratify that shit, I doubt the Senate will keep ratifying it when it knows the House might.

Namely, you're going to need the U.S. Supreme Court.

Why does Elaine from Seinfeld even care about Congressional seats in a state she probably doesn't even live in? She's an actress from New York City who probably lives in Southern California.

See, if it was a celebrity who was from Virginia or had close ties to the area, I'd be cool with this even if I didn't agree with what they're saying. If someone like GWAR or Wayne Newton made a tweet about it, I'd understand.

You left out how he tried to seize the property using eminent domain (and this was a LONG time before the Kelo case), and got his paw slapped. It's one of my grudges against him, but honestly he might've learned his lesson in the long run.

There was a fair amount of speculation that Coking was trying to gouge him for more money, and she probably was. But the solution to that was to just move ahead and build all that stuff AROUND her, NOT to go running to Uncle Sam to make her sell.

Hopefully, Trump learned from this.

Someone once said to me that Feminists don't really want equality. They want preferential treatment and all the perks of being a man in America but with none of the responsibility.
