If you look back through Jeff's overrustlelogs, he's an infrequent chatter, and he generally (generally) only does one--maybe two--large tips a month. That's pretty much his game. I'm fairly certain he "won" one of the Minecraft biddings and didn't make a request. I guess he just gets his rocks off from, using a generous definition here, "winning".

Maybe, but I think it's more that Jeff is, for whatever reason, an actual fan. This is absolutely 100% speculation, but I would guess that Jeff's on the spectrum somewhere. I don't mean as an insult...just a straight fact. The obsessive and repetitious nature associated with that can be a big benefit for an engineer doing the same type of work over and over again. It also could draw him to someone like Phil, who does the same thing over and over again until it works. Also peepee-poopoo jokes (SHITTY DICKS, amirite?) are probably even funnier to him.
