Jinnie (the Anime Milwaukee affiant) is talking about Vic here, the lawsuit and rumor panels. Despite some dumb shit, this stood out.

Looks like someone Vic has been talking to, whom he regards as a trustworthy friend, has been leaking private matters to people who aren't friendly with Vic, namely Jinnie here. I'm genuinely sorry for this, as if Vic doesn't have enough trust issues already.

@Svetlana Might be good to pass this on to Vic. Ask him who he talked to recently who could also be friends with Jinnie. Might be best to cease communication with that person...or maybe ask them why they thought it'd be a good idea to leak private stuff to other parties.

I'm not even involved here and I am developing trust issues (:_(

Chuck Huber's playing both sides will bite him in the ass one of these days. That said revealing the casting couch is not gonna put you in KickVic's/Sabat's good graces. The only reason you haven't been fired/blacklisted for this crap is because it would raise more suspicions

Chuck said in his affidavit that he knew he was going to torch his career. He may be trying to be a peacemaker still, he may be just trying to stick to Chris and his boys. I'm starting to think Chuck is just doing what he can because he feels he's got nothing to lose now.

He might have been playing both sides of the conflict early on though. The point in time that Jinnie is referencing is the beginning of the whole story. Remember when he first came out with his affidavit and nobody really expected it? I'm pretty sure he knew what he was getting into but it was a respectable timed reveal. He's probably cut off ties with them already and/or probably fed them misinformation.

Personally, I think keeping him is even more suspect. If the rumours are false, why the hell do you want to keep a guy who accuses you of being a weeb Harvey Weinstein? There must be a benefit to keeping him in rather than out. If they burn that bridge then there's nothing stopping him from going scorched earth and revealing everything he has.

Chuck went on a follow spree recently where be followed everybody that followed him. He even ended up following some KV idiots who bad-mouthed him who were then confused he followed them. So I think him following her doesn't mean much.

But even if it was him and he was only "playing both sides", it'd be shitty of him to talk about private conversations he had with Vic to other people.

If you keep him, his accusations are accusations at best. If you fire him for no reason, you give off the impression that you're upset he revealed something.

If Funi wanted to sack him and not seem suspicious, they would have instantly said "Chuck is fired, we won't tolerate employees lying about us in legal documents".

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. If anything happens to Chuck, it'll be quietly like not reprising his roles. I doubt they want to make headass public announcements after Vic's. However, judging from his twitter activity it's looking like he'll keep them. Logically to me, letting him go is the first choice if there's no truth to the allegations. Especially ones this salacious towards a powerful person in the company.

I assume that would open them up to another lawsuit from him for wrongful dismissal and defamation though, which would give ISWV another avenue to attempt to get discovery from Funimation and showcase all their shit.

I'm anticipating a LawKiwi slapping me with actual legal facts in 3... 2...

From what I've been seeing with Chuck during this debacle is that he's basically Revolver Ocelot (If anyone has played Metal Gear Solid). Always changing sides

He starts off defending Jamie when she told her story

However its revealed he's been hanging out with Vic, follows Nick, and told Vic that Sabat was talking about him behind his back

He tries to solve the situation from getting even worse until he gets treated like a monster for trying to silencing victims

Then it gets weird when he actually follows Douchette and Holmberg. And at one point gave Doucette his email.

Then comes his affidavit where he basically throws every main player at Funimation under the bus while getting a little shot at Vic

We get hints (well due to Svetlana basically spoiling us) that he was basically talking shit to Vic while the TCPA meeting was going on

Then at a recent con he's with obvious KV VA's like Josh Martin and Chris Rager

Either he's bipolar, actually crazy, or he is trying to compete with The Big Show with the most heel/face turns

To be fair, a lot of fence sitters picked a side when the TCPA hit.

I would love a Judge Judy-type thing where @Null gets together with Nick and another lawyer and they settle shitty, petty internet drama on a livestream with legally-binding rulings via arbitration.

If this does somehow happen, I want a free t-shirt, preferably an unwashed t-shirt from Dear Leader.

She never said he was talking shit to Vic.
She said he was relaying to him the real-time tweets from the KV dude who was at the hearing.
Some could even argue he was trying to keep Vic informed.

Don't spread misinformations.

She literally said this

Make no mistake, Vic took it reeeally hard before getting all the facts about what actually happened. He even had a so-called "friend" reading the KV live Tweets and texting/berating him (grrr!!). With friends like those....ugh

It was a tough day for sure, but Vic is okay. He's a sensitive soul, but he has a good support system in place. Never a need to apologize for caring.

Oh my God. How the fuck do you make a bunny girl outfit look like shit?
...Should I be ashamed that I spent ages trying to figure out who the fuck she was cosplaying as?

I first thought of Haruhi, but she didn't have blue leggings, she had black tights and omg it was awesome pls giv us series 3 kyoani.
