I wonder what it is about pre-pubertal hormone treatment that makes troons look so uncanny valley. Because you're right, I'd occam's razor it and assume he's a woman on the street, but he just looks wrong in some kind of subtle, unsettling way. Is it bone malformation from the lupron? The nerves of the cervix are actually intimately connected with erotic sensation in general. So much so that a minor surgical procedure that involves cutting into the cervix has the ability to completely destroy all erogenous genital sensation (second article for the curious). Seconding the theory that the parents aren't always entirely to blame. Parents are frequently ignored in these cases. Best case scenario, parents who oppose it are ignored and treatment proceeds anyway behind their backs. Worst case scenario (typically in BC or the UK, not often in the US), CPS gets called.

I have a friend who goes to medical school. During his psychiatric rotation, he got to sit in on a consultation for an MTF teenager (according to my friend he was around 12 or 13) who was anxious about his body beginning to acquire secondary male sex traits. The teenager's mother was an actual doctor, a pediatrician if I recall correctly. The mother was trying to argue against putting her son on HRT, most likely because she as a medical care provider knew better than anyone the hazards of the drugs. What the psychologist decided to do as a "middle-ground" solution was to put the kid on fucking lupron, which is even more dangerous than estridiol! This mother, despite being both the boy's guardian and a licensed physician, had to concede and start giving her son a dangerous, experimental treatment for a condition he might not even actually have. Un-be-fucking-lieveable.

I'm not going to say what hospital/med school this was at because I don't want to incriminate my friend, but it's a very prestigious one in the United States. This isn't some small quack hospital in Canuckistan. This is a top-tier med school in the United States, which was comparatively "conservative" treatment of troons. Most of you guys could probably guess what school I'm talking about-- it's a household name.

He seemed kind of surprised when I told him that the "moderate" "compromise" solution they gave for the kid was actually the more extreme one. Lupron was originally created to treat precocious puberty, then later used as an experimental treatment for cancer. People who took it as kids have reported seizures and serious bone problems even after they stopped taking the medication. It's nothing to sneeze at, and these side effects are public knowledge-- you can literally google it.

I'm most concerned about the effects on IQ. From memory, children treated with it have something like almost a one sigma decline over a couple years. This will render a lot of them unemployable, tranny related social issues aside. You could probably take up sniffing glue as a child and not suffer such a decline in intelligence.

Obviously IQ isn't really a "quotient" anymore since it is no longer a function of mental age, as in mental age divided by chronological age. I am curious whether the IQ decline with lupron represents an actual loss of ability or instead a failure to keep up with peer development. It's hard to tell because I'm having trouble even getting good stats on how G should increase year to year (or ideally smaller increments) in children.

A lot of men have a certain fetishism where they can fantasize about an isolated element (say, a well toned butt) isolated from the person it's attached to (a gross middle aged housewife). Women don't do this. So like... Putting aside anything else, I think Blaire's artificial femininity just tickles the sex part of your brain and that confuses you into saying he looks female (gay).
