Just talked to someone on facebook who legitimately thought Vic lost the case because he didn't show up to the TCPA hearing. And they straight up referenced the Dallas Morning News.

Are people like her proud of themselves? She's deliberately feeding information about a situation to people that's, at least, extremely one sided, if not plain false.

Actually all the major cities (Austin, Dallas, Forth Worth, Houston, San Antonio) are all pretty liberal. It's the rural areas, and the counties that don't lie directly next the Mexican border that are as red as can be.

Even so, I think it is terrible to put the child through such a thing at age 7. Kids that age shouldn't have to worry about complex shit like gender identity. They just need to worry about school and having fun at that age. A child shouldn't have to be subjected to a fucking sex change early on in life. He's just 7... He is going to be confused about stuff and not fully comprehend the situation. Not to mention this mom he has can easily manipulate the kid into thinking this is the right thing to do. Anyone who is going to transition should make an informed decision themselves. Someone so young won't understand the hardship and side effects that come with it. There should be a rule about this kind of stuff and kids. I think it's a bad decision...

OK, #1, no way in hell does ASM Global (the company) give a crap about any of this. #2, so this guy is saying he's going to push for a guy that has literally neither been convicted nor even "legally" accused of any crime to be "banned" from a massive public facility? If I thought Vic were a petty shithead I'd recommend he go to a dozen random public events at the Irving Convention Center just to prove a point. Regardless, I'd love to see the back and forth with the convention center over this.
