Basically, anyone who goes 'I was just keepin' it warm for you, buddy, have it back' when this all resolves and Vic can get roles back I will obviously respect and understand, but until then they're all on my watch list. Even JYB.

the actors themselves don't have the authority to go "Nah vic is back he should have his roles back too". That is up to whoever casts the roles exclusively. And any VA trying that would be risking the casting directors to go "Aight we will NOT call you for another role if you are already trying to give your work away"

Also to further elaborate, not that this guy is an issue specifically but let's look at their behavior. Skye & co aren't willing to co-op with people who even have their own interest in mind. Which supports the idea of operating within their own means. (Unless that outside help is a verifiable source with actual pull / influence like lawtwitter for example. They are different entities but a lot of these lolyers got in their good graces simply for disagreeing with Nick & openly bashing him. Further substantiating the idea of a verifiable source with pull.)

Not that it is a BIG deal or anything because the convention center is aware of what took place when it happened but it IS weird & something I'd probably advise keeping an eye on going into appeals or anything else that leaves a trail leading to these idiots.

Not in the slightest. It's likely some shitty Twitter flex. The irony in getting a "no thanks" from the group he's trying to impress is satisfying.

People at conventions rarely take their issues to the very accessible convention staff, let alone going a step beyond that to facility staff or even the actual police. (part of how we got here in the first place is all these harassed people have never made an actual complaint to any legal authority) Also, I kind of want to know who this guy is, because I would actually imagine that while his employer might take action if something major was brought to their attention, it is much more likely that they would not want a random employee telling random wackos to talk to the facility about any problem they might have leading to both potentially fielding many more complaints than they are designed to handle and also opening them up to a lot of liability.

Which is why I again say some people should really take him up on his offer and start spamming the facility management with all the risks they are subjecting their visitors to, especially if rumors and hearsay are the standard by which we manage risk assessment. Again, if Vic is half as bad as his accusers claim, why has no one taken a restraining order against him? It seems like it would be incredibly simple to setup a situation where he is legally not able to be with X feet of you.

I had it bookmarked as well. Even logging in there isn't a search function to get to it. Seems like the only way to get to any posts is to scroll through like a fucking Instagram or Tumblr blog.

They want a "clean slate."

Edit: I'm inferring that the other posts regarding this crappy year have been buried as well.

I watched Rekieta’s stream this morning in bits and pieces, and here are some very interesting parts regarding Vic and the appeals:

• Nick says that the notice of appeal is due on 10/24 and implies it’s coming either today or tomorrow.
• It will be a short letter; further documents will be fleshed out in the future.
• Lemoine’s laughable letter states that he requests a hearing to serve but not fill billing records and insists on a 2-hour evidentiary hearing despite not speaking to Supreme Court.
• Nick says that they want a hearing to avoid objections, which is stupid because objections can be made at a hearing and even on paper.
• Also, Chupp gave them what they wanted, so why would they want a hearing?
• They don’t want the public to see their billing invoices. Nick theorizes (and I feel the same on this) that Ron may not have been honest about those legal fees at the deposition.
• Long story short, Lemoine’s letter is exactly what we all thought it was: a desperate attempt to cover their tracks and waste more time and the plaintiff’s money.
• Nick reveals that Vic’s appeal court will take place at Fort Worth - Court of Appeals of Texas, 2nd District, Fort Worth. Bryce King, Camisha L. Simmons and David Van Leeuwen will be the three judges.
• More interesting is what happened near the end during the super-chat regarding Michelle Specht. Nick says that Specht is not exactly innocent herself, her preying on his Christian beliefs may be act to “hide her demons”, and hints that her relationship may have ended earlier because she was SO not a “random thot”.

Starting to believe Texas is just as fucked over by the American left as other states after reading about the #savejames trial. I keep hoping for the best when it comes to the appeal judges, though. I mean, Chupp's republican.

I hope that the judges will be reasonable people, hope the same for the potential jury. Can't imagine what a jury made up of BLM shirts wearing democrats would be like...

See, you bring up an interesting point about the appeals. I remember Nick mentioning last night about making sure the appeal isn't filed too early or too late because both can be used by the defense to try to shoot it down.

It could be a move to try to get Ty to make a move that gives them leverage on either argument.

But finding that "just right" time to file, which is tomorrow, means they will have one less thing they can use against him.

Like I said, this should be good either way. I still think it's hilarious they all refuse to comply with discovery but make frivolous demands like this or at the very least let Lemoine prove to everyone a mosquito is plugged into his brain controlling his actions. I hope Ty doesn't give into it. They already won and there's no reason for Lemoine to require any of that.

Unless there is in fact....a case that would pass the TCPA stage.

If this lawsuit was so frivolous, why would they want to get evidence Ty and his team has? All these recent moves they are making sound really shady. What are they going to do with it since they "won"? Are they attempting to dig up dirt to try and twist things to defame Vic further? Perhaps they are planning some sort of attack on those who supported Vic in all this too.

Very strange...

You'd think they'd just worry about trying to get their sanctions and fees... and that's it. This doesn't sound like how a case would normally end after a ruling.

It's the GFM, man. If they can get something to spin as proof that Vic, Ty and Nick filed the suit frivolously, they can ask the court to award sanctions to whatever level the court determines is a deterent to future frivolous suits. They've been after that WARCHEST since day one.
