TBF the gold digger is the husband, the author just draws the comic - though I did enjoy the recent passive aggressive spurge on the current front-page because she's continuing the One Page a week update schedule, which has been choking the comic of readers over the past year. Poke outside of the spaces curated by the husband, and you find the audience pretty much just isn't there, the fan-reddit is a literal ghost town.

The current chapter started in December and since then the story has pretty much been the main characters trick or treating while sniping at each other. Which might be fine if it wasn't a chapter that took almost a whole year to post.

At this point they pretty much only care about the audience that probably pays into the streams and patreon and their membership thing (and that's only for the money)

I got through about 100 pages before seeing that there's over 1000, and then promptly giving up. There's only so much gross shit you can take in a day before needing to die in a corner and give up on humanity. :(

The Erfworld reddit is fully cucked & gay, so doesn't surprise me they're out batting for pedos.

They have a ban on "mentioning the events" leading to why Rob pulled the plug. Nigga its pretty relevant and out there that his wife's son got his dick sucked by a 14 year old and then suck-started a shotgun. Ban pedo-discussion, sure. But trying to striesand this not going to work and be 10x worse than just have a "ROB'S WIFE's SON IS PEDO AND DEAD, SO NO MORE ERFWORLD. DISCUS HERE AND ONLY HERE" containment thread.

Man. I used to read erfworld a lot. Book 1 was great, Book 2 was entirely decent. Then the stupid text updates began in earnest, and the metaplot completely ate itself alive. It was a world built out of references, but Rob tried to make it a sooper syrs story with tons of implications n'shit. It pretty-much ceased to be good the moment Parson went out of the spotlight and those fucking retarded towers began talking in nigger to each other.

The real downfall of Erfworld was you went from frequent comic updates where every page SOMETHING happened to move the plot to one a month text dumps where the only thing that happened is Rob shoe-horned in the meme of the minute, and opened up a new side plot. Its like trying to read Lord of the Rings where not only is there only a page posted a week, but sometimes those pages will be Silmarillion excerpts instead.

The Towers & Parson's failure to be ejected from Erfworld was pretty much the jump the shark moment, and I'm only somewhat sad its dead; there was no point in trying to read it 'live' with all the minute details that suddenly are important coming up, so it was a yearly check for me to see if he was done with the book yet or not.

Nigga you posted that page with the shit you're referencing 18 months ago, I don't remember the details.

It's funny, because the story got popular in the first place due to how tightly written it was. I hold Book 1 up as the perfect example of how to do an excellent self-contained story. It hit all the narrative marks needed to be great, and there was barely any filler or anything that didn't have some kind of implications as to how the world worked or foreshadowed events to come.

From what I've read, Rob let money and success go to his head. Apparently he had serious ongoing plans to make Erfworld into an actual tabletop setting and game. Somehow. With miniatures and everything. Instead of actually finishing the thing that made him money to begin with.

Not quite sure if this is the correct thread to put it in as it's a comic hosted entirely on twitter but the artist is planning on making more issues. It's a comic called Puppy M.ilk (without the period) and apparently it's about the authors life growing up but seems to me to be just an excuse to draw children having sex. They often use the fact that they were sexually abused as a kid as an excuse to draw child porn.

Edit: also wanted to add if you check their following you'll notice a fair amount of people with pear emojis in their bio which stands for "pro expression anti repression" which was a term coined by notorious pedo 4lung and also follows Shmorky, glitchedpuppet and their partner(?) eevee.

Whether it does or not don't really matter, the comic itself is actually good considering the schlock out there in the furry fandom. I can perhaps only name a handful of decent furry comics, and this'd be one of them.

Whatever you think about furries, you can't compare Lackadaisy to say, an Assigned Male or Dobson. The Gold standard for shitty webcomics.

Yeah, but if you do anything with anthro, you're gonna get lumped in with furries. The better furry webcomics generally aren't done by people who identify as furries.
