the merits of throwing quarters at the monkey to make him dance

I'm just glad I never even ironically donated to Phil. I remember when it was someone like swagginz or austmink who donated around $300 as a single donation and Phil barely mentioned it for more than a minute before going back to the game like nothing happened. Most streamers would probably be surprised and grateful for more than 60 seconds at a real $300 tip.

right, more than what most people make in an 8 hr day, so ungrateful

That's what narcissism does to you - he thinks if you show you are overly happy for $300 you risk that you never get a $500 or bigger donation one day. He really thinks he is worth that money to someone. He also realizes that all the other paypigs are just giving him some change.

I give DSP quarters every couple of streams. Sometimes it's to make an inside joke for a Tevin stream, sometimes it's because there's a question I genuinely want an answer to. I have a bunch of bits from when you could get like 500 a day with a mouse/keyboard macro running overnight watching ads.

You do you, but at least be honest about it. You want to support him and Kat by tossing a few pennies his way and saying things like "Say hello to Kat".

Guys! The cool and fun sub and Patreon goals are back!

This month only, if subs get to 525 Phil will be doing a Christmas stream! That's correct folks, if you don't go out and get your sub soon, Christmas will literally be cancelled.

What will this cool and fun event entail you are probably asking yourself. Well hold on to your seats because if he reaches this goal he will be doing the exact same thing as the Halloween event but without Kat. Yes, there will be lights, there will be low effort costumes, there will be dollar store stuffed animals, and there will be games! And if we get 600 subs, a new DSP tries it! The exact same shitty product! How cool and fun!

What games will DSP be mastering? Well that's where Patreon comes into play. If you donate $5 or more you can vote on a game for Phil to play. And since there are no winter or Christmas themed games, he is able to play anything! (He specifically recommended Street Fighter or a survival horror game)

imagine giving dsp money just to insult him

and why tf does he keep trying to see if online works even though it says it does not?

100 bits get on screen so youtube gets to enjoy the trolls shitting on him.

Not condoning it, but I mean, i understand why (I also enjoy it). Not to mention he doesnt get those right away (please TIP ME)

Just @ him in Twitch chat and you have a 90% chance that he will see your message for free. If you give him money to "troll" you're a dumbass.

Again, you missed the point.

If you @ him, he sees it

If you cheer (100) or tip ($5) above his threshold, ITS ON SCREEN. That means that it goes straight to youtube where you can send the most offensive messages possible and BOOM he cant lean that shit off a screen. Hitting him about 2 minutes after he activates youtube mode is prime time. Cheering is lower ($1) and delayed payment for a month. Tipping is $5 and instant. I am spelling this all out for you so you understand efficient trolling rather than sperging at a screen.

I should also reiterate, I have never, nor will I ever send that pigroach any money. I simply stated that I UNDERSTOOD AND ENJOYED THAT BRAND OF TROLLING.

Yes it's on screen but money still went into his pocket. And anyone giving him money isn't trolling as he really doesn't give much of a shit about you, just that he got money.

This. Tagging him in chat is free and just a matter of finding what button to push to rile him up. Nine times out of ten it's just a contrary opinion to whatever he happens to be ranting about. Yes, you might get banned, but you might get banned for a troll tip anyway, so what's the difference there besides DSP getting more money?

If you tip to get your weak-ass insult on-screen then what you're doing is chasing glory, and let me tell you son, there is no glory in stomping a worm.

I can see why people enjoy sending him a dollar or 100 bits to troll, and personally it's kinda funny to see him read out a name just to get a troll telling him to stop begging and get a real job or whatever, but I can also agree with the other side.

Dsp a lot of the times, mid argument, will read out an @'d message in chat only for him to downplay it, call them morons or detractors or trolls, and give em the good ol fashioned lean. I feel like sending someone like Wings a dollar a lot of the time works better(despite the fact that Wing's troll community's a fucking mess) cause he'll read it out before he understands it's a troll. Kinda hard to pick a side, but I can say it's probably better to not give him money, cause even though he's whined before that giving a dollar doesn't help cause paypal takes 30-40 cents (except when he needs to raise money, then it's "even a dollar helps"), giving this pig anything besides an insult is rewarding this shit and he'll give you a shit eating grin as he lean in bans you.

EDIT: with Twitch's new point system, you can highlight a message in chat so he can read it. Food for thought

It’s a big argument on the farms whether throwing pennies at the clown should even be allowed or not.

As @actually ’s tallies often show, troll tipping makes up about 5-7% of his monthly income. It’s negligible but still sizeable given that those people shitting on him are giving him money to do so.

I feel if you’re invested in seeing DSP crash and burn spectacularly, you’re against any form of troll tipping. If you’re just here to enjoy the shitshow, you don’t care and enjoy watching him get triggered over “mean” comments.

I particularly don’t care about troll tips but most of them are not funny nor original. If you’re going to troll tip, at least make an effort. “Tevin blacked Khet” is not funny. Don’t be a child... if you want to trigger DSP, hit him where it hurts: question his values and rope him into saying stupid shit.

So basically people have to give him $1 in bits and think up their quip live to be able to leave Youtube comments on his gameplay videos. Huh, I hadn't thought about that as a motivation for 'Troll Tipping' before. I still can't see how that's worth giving him $1 to leave a snarky comment for his handful of Youtube viewers to see as well. Have you talked to people before who have mentioned fucking with his Youtube videos as a motivation for this?

Nah, that's just self-delusion coming from literal retards who were once and still are fans of Pig's completely garbage production. They're fans in denial and this is just bullshit they spout to lie to themselves on why they still watch Pig, for all that they "hate" him. Doubly so since most of them only became a part of the hatebase because Pig's natural antisocial behavior directly affected them in some way or another.

The best troll "interactions" were when they found out you could subscribe while deleting your Twitch account so the message would pop up but they wouldn't get charged. Phil got so mad that he disabled notifications.

Also the time they figured out you could tip Muxy with a bogus credit card. The transaction would be denied but the message would still show up. "Oh wow! A $100 tip! Thank you so much!" *checks phone* "Oh... It was fake" This got him so mad that he deleted muxy and went to streamlabs.

If you ask me, the money to entertainment value in donating to DSP is so infinitesimal, you might as well hunk pennies at Yaniv's mobility scooter to see if they catch on the machine.
