My brain is still trying to wrap around 'My Brother in Laws Wedding'. The brother in law becomes the brother in law through marriage, that connection would cease after a divorce. You'd refer to the wedding as that of whatever sibling it is that's making said person your brother in law, not the opposite. 🤔

Maybe :optimistic: but the way that statement makes sense is that the troon is married and its spouse's brother is getting married.

But the tl;dr is that OP is triggered by an math joke and someone else offhandedly mentioned that their troon classmate failed a course by frothing over politics ( false dichotomy at it's finest)
