I love seeing this false little chestnut trotted out any time sex abuse is talked about. It’s not true and people should use the vast resources available to them to do some learning instead of parroting pseudo psych bullshit that sounds good and smart.

The majority of victims do not become offenders, but victims are more likely to become offenders compared to the general population. That's not the same thing though as saying most sex offenders were abused or that sex abuse creates offenders, which is how people typically put it. There's a correlation but people should be careful with their words when discussing topics like this. Flatly saying that abuse creates offenders is too simplistic and can be harmful.

I totally agree with what you said, I just don't understand the people who don't see that ans keep excusing her behaviour saying she is just a big toddler who like to play with glitter and eat candy, there is some people who genuinely think she is a big innocent child just because she look like one.
