Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I guess they forgot about Solo
Which leaves only the irrational haters who harass creators, spread conspiracy theories and hate anything Disney does, regardless of its quality. The simple truth is that these groups are dwindling in number. Either the anger they felt when The Last Jedi hit theaters has burned out or they moved on. If trolling led to Solo's numbers slipping, then the trolls clearly aren't interested in doing it again.
"So many have move away from the franchise or just aren't interested anymore. And here's why that's a good thing! Checkmate, incels."

I'm not sure who that charisma-free wooly jew Jahns is, but damn is he cringe distilled.

I will enjoy watching these twast eating their own words when IX bombs.

Disney wasn't happy about the price tag of the papatine situation, but there's also the fact that they also don't want scary toys since all the reveals are lacking aliens of any sort. Like you're not getting rancors or wampas or any actual beasts.
You aren't getting rancors or wampas because Disney doesn't want to pay Lucas for the privilege of using his creations.

So are they just going to have everything reduced to a spooky voiceover made by a soundalike?
If that's true this is going to be even more hilarious that Disney wasted 35 million for Ian McDiarmid to show up only to not even use him. I was thinking the other day how much they changed this movie because of leaks (like cutting out the time travel shit) but at this point I wonder if they're going to take Exogol out of the movie by renaming it to something else.

Maybe they will reuse Snoke as the main villain somehow, who knows. This thing is a clusterfuck that better pray they have enough flashy setpieces and explosions to distract the audience, but looking at the trailer they won't even have that. It'll be like those anime with the QUALITY animation that the underpaid, overworked animators hoped you'd ignore. Can't wait to see all the SFX errors in this movie.

Oh, it's that faggot Anthony Gramuglia again. He's known for writing shitty articles about how Spiderman should be gay and Link should be a black woman to stick it to those alt-right Comicsgate Nazi incels. He also wrote a garbage piece screaming about Vic Mignogna a while back that was a "best of" hot takes from a bunch of retards on Twitter.

On the topic of Star Wars, my friends are going to drag me along to see it in theaters. They keep saying I'm irrational in expressing my dislike and that it won't be that bad, and that my opinion about the franchise destroying itself is incorrect. I will go with them, but I will cackle like a hyena, and unlike VII when I stifled my laughter during the Kylo Ren face reveal I will do it with pride.

In line to get tickets, just drop all the spoilers, say it sounds dumb and we should watch something else.

Their intention isn't to replace anything with anything. Their intention is to crusade against anything that triggers them, defeat it, move the ratchet to a new notch, then crusade against whatever lies beyond the old goal. They are created to fight, move the ratchet, fight, move the ratchet further, fight, etc., forever. That's because the Crusade IS their goal, and the ends really don't matter all that much. Whatever gives them the moral authority and power that they need as quickly as they can get it, that's what they want. If they had lived in the early 20th century, they'd be ranting against Demon Alcohol instead of problematic whyte men. If they had lived in Europe of the 16th Century, they'd be Witchfinder Generals, stripping women naked and burning them at the stake for having a birthmark shaped like a goat.

I remember talking with someone about the uniquely awful nature of Commiefornians. New York is also a cesspool of liberal faggots, but they are no where near as awful as their west-coast ilk. We boiled it down to this distinction:

If East Coast Liberals, at least historically, don't like something they just don't do it.
When California Liberals don't like something, they want to make sure no one can do it.

Of course you've got DiBlasio and his wife's sons coming around to the Commiefornian way of doing things.

It's a JarJar movie desperate to be a hit. It'll have lensflares out the ass and a shitton of mindless dumb action.
There's going to be like 3 duels between Kylo and Rey, many action sequences and a giant space battle.

Normies will lap this shit up, I fear, and go "It was so amazing, there were exploooooooooshuns and everyhang!"
Still, I hope that it suffers from serious disinterest after the plot and characters failed to woo people.

Incoming cringe.

Cool, the Rat used proxies to spam buy tickets because they're so desperate for any form of hype they'll willingly risk getting caught doing this and investigated for fraud full on. What else is new, given it was done for Soylo and Capn Cunt and those movies were disappointments (or bombs).
In line to get tickets, just drop all the spoilers, say it sounds dumb and we should watch something else.
Actually, I just realized if you have to buy your own tickets, just buy a ticket for a different movie so the film doesn't get your money if they are able to just drag you in.

Apparently ROTS is on track to have the lowest opening in the What If Trilogy.

Daily reminder to go see (or at least pay for) Jumanji 2 or anything OTHER than Star Wars to make sure the Box Office for that weekend is average or above average so they can't try to pull a "well the overall box office was down" when this turd falls flat.

Sweet fuck, there's an entire forum dedicated to discussing, worshiping and analyzing all of the "complex, compellingly dynamic and emotionally deep layers" of Reylo.
It has only about 100 users active at all times but the number of lurkers number in the thousands. They're also in a bit of denial over the leaks and reshoots or refusing to acknowledge them due to the possibility of Emo Ren dying.
Also this news is a bit old but since I'm just finding out about it, it looks like many parts of Europe will have the movie released 2 days earlier than in the US, which means the movie will be spoiled to heck and back before the US release which may have a negative impact since spoilers will be likely be flooding american servers and movie lines, and the US is the most important source of SW money, since other countries barely cough up cash for the Disney Wars movie anymore except the UK. So expect some drama along with a lot of spoilers from Italians and Germans.

Personally, I have more of an interest in seeing Cats, if only to see what a visual clusterfuck it is with its creepy furry uncanny valley shit.
I'm more interested in that Will Smith pigeon movie or Jumanji 3 to be frank. Cats looks too uncanny valley for me. But if I'm forced to go see IX with some friends, I'll buy a ticket for Cats (and get them Cats tickets too...) since I found a nice theater where the usher never checks what your tickets say, unlike the one I used to go to.

Surely there can't be reshoots still going on? It's out in less than two months! It seems like reshoots have been longer than principal...
shirley.jpg
I haven't heard anything confirming more reshoots, but the film is still being edited by JJ if that's anything to go by.

So London Comic Con is happening and the star wars stuff apparently has caused confusion

Hasbro has not made a Palpatine figure because according to the rep they only wanted characters who are in the movie.

This has now made people wonder if they cut Palpatine entirely since reshoots are still apparently going

My guess is Doomcock was right and the Palpatine we see in the movie is just an illusion, a Palpatine Sentinel Droid from Battlefront 2 or a Holocron hologram. Or the character we think is Palpatine turns out to be Snoke in Palpy hoods who now has a robotic lower half like that shitty revived Maul, and the Palpatine we hear in trailers is just a pre-recorded message from the Wayfinders since Disney couldn't afford to actually have Ian in the movie.

1572224793668.jpeg

It can fucking happen... and it'd be so ridiculous and disappointing that I welcome it. Although another possibility is that Disney is refusing to share images of Palpatine with Hasbro.

Anyway, here's some news.

1: Harrison Ford and Hayden Christiansen may appear as ghosts in IX which was said in one of the older leaks.
But take this shit with a hunk of salt.

2: As part of some kind of publicity stunt, Disney teamed up with Porsche to design a space ship for some reason...
I miss the days when ships and tech were designed by war and military vehicle enthusiasts...

3: Piece of art from an upcoming SUPER IMPORTANT AND MUST BUY Kylo Ren comic...
1572226317854.jpeg

Every Shipper's wet dream...

4: Dr. FUCKING Aphra is getting renewed for a new run by Alyssa Wong starting in April... I mean for fuck's sake, the sales of her shitty comic have been on a downward decline for ages. The awful Poe comic was cancelled for good despite its sales being just as bad.
1572226092190.png

Apparently she ties into all the fucking OT films, she looks like Michael Jackson and she runs around with a minor. Fuck I hope IX bombs so hard they cancel this shit along with the rest of the Marvel run.

5: Here's some footage of the crappy chase sequence on not-Tatooine 2.0 courtesy of a crappy safety ad. There's more news to share but I'll save that for another post to keep this one from getting any longer.

I'll get to extracting salt from these forums. I think the Bella Swan copypasta will work.
Secondly, jesus fuck so many memberberries
Thirdly, tickets for other movies will probably be cheaper than EPIX. If you absolutely must go, assuming you fail in both dissuading, dehyping, and spoiling, "take one for the team" and buy tickets for a different movie. Get wasted beforehand, you'll need it.

Not a better love story than Twilight.

...how did we get here?

This pattern of behavior reminds me of the Cravers from Endless space. Although their behavior is more honest. They fight to assuage their hunger and don't attempt to dress it up in any moral pretense.

I might not want to get wasted if I am forced to go on opening day since, if I see this movie before some german or italian user here does, I'll want to give a detailed and very critical analysis of the film to all of you, but that's only if I'm the first and if I'm forced.

Anyway here's some more news.

1: Disney is taking down all instances of the leaked images from youtube, reddit and other major outlets via copyright notices.

2: Many people have analyzed the trailer up and down and found out that THE PIT which leaks say Kylo Ren is thrown into upon death does exist and can be seen in the trailer.
1572229069952.png

If so, that's another leak confirmed and Kylo's dead a la nu-Han.

3: The Knights of Ren still don't have names as seen at London CC, and other new merchandise.

4: Some are speculating that the "original Kylo Ren" from the comic set for release after IX is actually Palpatine or Snoke. Guess they needed a way to tie up that bullshit.

5: Among the ships confirmed for the crappy "thousands of ships flying closely together for max member berries" scene in IX are all the OT ships except possibly Boba's (since we already know Rey used it in some comic then left it for scrap but it was somehow found by Yellow Yoda according to the EA Battlefront game because reasons) as well as the mini-Falcon from Rebels, a ship from the Wendig novels (end it), claims of Dr. FUCKING Aphra's ship (The Angel) being a part of it too and The Colossus is also confirmed which is that awful giant oil rig station/ship from the Resistance cartoon which was confirmed on The Star Wars Show podcast. They claim this is "huge fanservice for the fans" despite the show's ratings being in the gutter and being almost universally ignored or hated outside of its personal subreddit.
1572228074578.png1572228225198.jpeg
Another ship that's been confirmed is the Baleen-class from The Force Awakens which was the poorly designed cargo ship nu-Han used when he found Rey. Funny thing is that official SW entries and Pablo Hidalgo claim this ship is incapable of entering a planet's atmosphere for some reason despite that the final act of the movie has it fighting in a planet's atmosphere.
1572228327978.jpeg1572228362028.png
And all this is without going into detail about how ludicrous its design is and that despite being a cargo freighter and the "most important" ship in galactic trade and commerce, it has little to no security or an actual containment area for its many Earth-like shipping cargo containers just hanging around behind it where any pirate and smuggler can just tow it away.

6: Rian is back to talking about his Star Wars films and won't shut up about them.
