Wow. That litre of water that’s used to mix up her elemental formula powder into must be blessed indeed to spare her from the wrath of anaphylaxis.

I’ll drop this wee little post from last year too. That huge percentage of water that fruit is made up of wasn’t bothering her at all last year until she got her Nexplanon. Such a shockingly startling development, the poor creature.

@Vanilla Donut I spent all of the morning rummaging through Facebook groups to screenshot any comments and posts of hers. I plan to spend the afternoon doing the same! I feel like the imprint our pal Bethany has made on social media is newsworthy and we have enough to charge her with fraud at the very least. Jaquie passed before we could get her on Dr Phil. If we move quick enough, we can stop Bethany before she permanently caused damage or death to herself accidentally or purposefully. I knew Bethany has been full of shit watching and reading over the last year. But now that people are sharing information and posts I need to Amazon some popcorn to be delivered in bulk! 🍿

I can hardly wait until she develops an allergy to herself!

She’s claimed her period in paralyzed her, her sooper bad EDS caused a spinal cord injury. She’s so inconsistent.

I wonder if the behaviors Bethany exhibits when she’s visiting her chronically ill best friend ..... could be considered “shared psychotic disorder” I wonder if spoonies groups/meetups could also have this phenomenon.

She already developed a severe allergy to her husband! It’s only a matter of time!!!
Ironically she’s actually much more likely to develop a self allergy, than she is to have an allergy to her husband. Sometimes viral infections trigger autoimmune chronic hives which typically last 2-5 years. Why don’t any of our munchie friends claim a self allergy? Because there’s a definitive blood test for it and not much room for the coveted “clinical” diagnosis to doctor shop for and the treatment would be otc po meds.
Edit: the internal water allergy is impossible but occasionally kids with failure to thrive actually have an allergy to the fluoride added to most tap water, or another additive. The kids like that end up with dentures before they’re 20.

For those interested in reading a first-person perspective on diphenhydramine (Benadryl) over-medication: https://erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Diphenhydramine.shtml

Highlights include: "I imagined I was smoking a cigarette and was even making the motion of ashing it... I ended up in the hospital. They wanted to keep me there for a month because they believed I had schizophrenia...I honestly felt as if I died and was living in hell. It was terrifying."

Diphenhydramine is chemically unique in that for humans, there is effectively "no" upper dosing limit. The LD50 is 500 mg/kg orally, so in an applied sense, that's 2000 mg for a 120 lb person before the effects of tachycardia, arrhythmia, seizure and coma set in. If the standard size over-the-counter tablets are 25mg, that would be 80 of those, more if you weigh more.

It has little risk for direct chemical dependency in that it is not “addictive." That is, if dosed with it one day, the body will not react adversely if not given it the next, as is the case with say, benzodiazepines or opiates. However, the body does get used to it very quickly and will need more to the effects (whatever it's being used for: antihistamine, sleep aid, or, as some have pointed out, as a potentiator for opiates).

This is why clinicians usually only prescribe it for use in the short term. However, given it is about as non-toxic as you can get, it is over-the-counter and anyone can buy it. The US Food and Drug Administration categorizes it as category B for pregnant women, safe to take as long as the benefit outweighs the risk. Of course also as a potentiator for other controlled substances and furthermore as a drug whose main and sometimes desired side effect is somnolence, it exacerbates the black box warning that comes with opiates and benzodiazepines: don't drive or operate heavy machinery. We all saw JanJan, for example, ignore all that.

TLDR: Anyone can take a drug with terrifying effects that you can get used to quickly because it's OTC and can't directly kill you.

Saving the munchies is not what Kiwi Farms does. We are here to laugh at their stupidity, not save them. If you want to be a hero, you're in the wrong place.

We happily leave that to the angels of the IF subreddit. Their sainthood should be coming any day now after all their toil and valiant efforts to reform the munchies. Get a fucking life and get over yourself.

“Medical racism is very real”

Why does this chick think she presents as anything but white?

Tbh I don’t truly want to save her. The dramas just too good. I know the lady from Australia was on Dr Phil and I was waiting for Jaquie to end up on the show she obviously didn’t. So I want rebellious story to make it on the show to expose her and the MBI, OTT online world. 🤣

Jesus, no wonder they’re all over this shit. Thanks for that.
I’ll have to do some digging when I have a bit more spare time and see if this Rebellious munch is combining it with the IV form of Phenergan as it’s been hinted at upthread as a possibility. I’m morbidly curious as to whether one could manage the two drugs IV, even with tolerance built up.

“No this is not me”.

HAHAHA. Was worth the read for that slip up alone. Fucking dumbass.

If you would like to read about managing Phenergan and Benadryl, read below:

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Phenergan (promethazine) are technically the same type of drugs- H1 histamine inhibitors. Benadryl is often listed for its anticholinergic properties as well, but even colloquially people know it as a antihistamine. For example: get a bee sting, elevated histamine response, take a Benadryl. Feel better from an OTC medication.

Promethazine is most often given in the clinical setting for anti-nausea (as listed up-thread) related to post-operative narcotics if the patient has "failed" or lists an aversion to Zofran (Ondansetron) for whatever reason.

It is associated with some unwanted side effects, mainly being tardive dyskinesia (uncontrollable mouth movements), drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, and it's a bit harder on the liver. For this reason, most clinicians will not prescribe promethazine for the patient to take home, but will instead prescribe dissolvable Zofran tablets. It may also cause respiratory depression in high enough doses, which is increased when combined with opiates, which also cause respiratory depression. It wouldn't be unheard of, however, for a clinician to give a patient a take-home prescription if they insisted they could not take Zofran, or if the clinician believed the prescription would be short term.

It's sometimes used in cough syrup preparations because it can suppress coughing as one of its secondary functions.

Where am I going with all this? Because of its sedating effects, those taking it in the syrup preparation paired with codeine came to enjoy it, and that was the origin of "Drank," seen in hiphop subculture in the mid 2010s. Lil Wayne was allegedly hospitalized from it, which is, I think, a preparation of promethazine and codeine syrup, sprite, jolly ranchers and alcohol. You can see how that shit would put you out.

A more "sophisticated" user who could try to just manage drugs as an MBI human, as you noted, might try diphenhydramine and promethazine. Maybe opiates and/or benzodiazepines, maybe MMJ. I don't know their lives. That would certainly, from the effects promethazine and diphenhydramine are known to cause, cause you to feel way out of it. Maybe they're into that.

However, given that both promethazine and diphenhydramine work on the H1 histamine receptor, taking them both at the same time is dangerous. All the bad side effects of antihistamine poisoning? You're going to get there twice as fast. Increased heart rate, nausea, vomiting, loss of balance, possible seizure, coma and even death.

TLDR: Entirely possible to get someone to prescribe Phenergan and Benadryl. You don't even need a Benadryl prescription. However, not a good idea to combine two medications that are very, very similar just to get a high. Cuz, you know, cooking yourself alive and brain damage and such.

I can’t for mysteryelles to fly to Maryland tomorrow and be told if she doesn’t get her spine fused ASAP she will be at risk of being internally decapitated. It’s about time for another muchie to have a botched spinal fusion.
my money is on “most severe instability” dr Henderson has ever seen!!!!!

speaking of... one of the many former Lyme turned EDS trifecta accounts on IG announced she has extremely severe instability and Chiari malformation and has surpassed all other treatments and MUST be fused as her only option. The best part was a nugget buried in the comments from someone who also had a Chiari malformation and their decompression proved helpful- yet this person’s response was that her Chiari was mild and fusion will make it “go away”.

Dr Henderson is the JESUS of EDS you guys!!!! Just make sure you have payment up front and ALL CASH.
