It's not just women on twitter, apparently; it appears to be women that have gone through western post-secondary education, and being indoctrinated to buy into the pseudo-Marxist bullshit of critical gender and race theory. They're just more obvious on social media, for some reason.

Honestly, we should be more thankful to these kinds of women. They've gotten themselves so filled to the brim with piss and vinegar towards men that they've essentially removed themselves from the dating pool by opting instead on being homebody introverts that waste the best years of their lives screaming into the void on social media.
This is why I keep saying these banshees and incels really are made for each other and why I suggest the only way to fix the both of these groups is to just lock them in a room and let them hatefuck the fear, anger and bitterness out of each other with the force of a thousand suns
This may result in a few fatalities or at least a few physical, mental and/or emotional scars for either party, but I believe that's a sacrifice most of us would be willing to make

No, I think it's more that they grew up on the internet, with "internet friends" where you try to collect as many as possible to have followers and such, to the point that they no longer hold the idea of "friend" meaning anything but a follower. Therefore they've had to create a new word for people they actually interact with in real life. And tumblrspeak/genderfuckery infected it.
