Also, Technically Vic didn't lose the lawsuit. It got dismissed on frivolity claims by the TCPA by a judge that didn't feel like doing his job and shipped the whole thing VOLUNTARITY to the appeals court.

Common sense says that if these conventions had all this evidence and withheld it while still allowing a predator to roam freely and putting their guests at risk, the last thing they are doing is sitting back laughing because they think they have some kind of legal kryptonite. Quick tip to Kiwis on Twitter if you don't know: utilize lists. I have an account that I silently watch from while in protected mode. I have two lists currently, also protected. When you add someone to a protected list, they're not notified of it and I don't believe they have the ability to remove themselves from it. If they then change their @handle, you'll be able to see the change. That should help some people in keeping tabs on the more skittish bovines.

I like that my early predictions about this seem to be true. Smaller cons and less expensive cons are actually getting the opportunity to call Vic in, get to deal with him, and get the huge boost that comes from Vic showing up there.
