I wasn't following Phil while he was still doing DSP Tries It bullshit, so I don't know how/why it started, but I suppose my most need to know question is 'why'?

Because he realized people would pay him to do what he was already doing.

Why would his parents buy him a stuffed turkey roll for Thanksgiving? You can get frozen stuffed turkey breast rolls in supermarkets. You can even get a whole frozen pre-stuffed turkey at a supermarket. Even Walmart carries that sort of thing. They're not hard to cook. They even have directions on how to cook them on the packaging, of all things. Wow. The joys of the modern age.

Wow. That's so pathetic, I didn't remember it happening. I must have blocked it out.

This is why I don't let Mama and Papa Burnell off the hook when it comes to their failson. There's being sheltered and overprotected, which Piggy himself admitted he was earlier this streamweek, and then there's being raised without enough basic knowledge and skills to live like an adult.

If Mama Burnell is buying this type of thing from a home shopping channel of all things, then it's proof that she has as much common sense as her son. And by that, I mean none.

I don't quite agree that it's a common sense thing, I think and have always thought that DSP's biggest problem (and where all his flaws stem from) is that he was raised by an overly paternalistic mother who spoiled lil Phil so much that the guy left home without even knowing how to make cup noodles or wash his own clothes. The only skill she imparted on DSP was the "call parents for help" skill. As much as DSP loves to blame things on the actions (or DNA) of others around him, his mother actually does share a lot of the blame for the DSP we have with us today.

I had a friend growing up that had a very similar mother (at 17 his mother was still combing his hair for him in the morning before school) and when it was time to move out of the home, this friend of mine moved into the house next door to his parents' because they had recently purchased it. This wasn't for economic reasons either, which is a context I can understand, he could have very easily afforded to rent anywhere else. He still takes his washing next door to be done for him, his mother often cooks for him etc. DSP is that kind of guy, utterly and completely sabotaged by some kind of heavy-smoking traditional Polish mother.

Buying him random junk and food fits right in with her helicopter parenting, and I doubt even now she feels any sense of guilt about her precious manbaby STILL needing her help with basic shit. In her advanced age she probably actually likes that she's still "needed" by her son. It sounds like a genuinely tahxic relationship.

I bet as he got older, she began actively sabotaging his development into a functional adult. Like a premature Empty Nester Syndrome kicked into overdrive so she's always needed.

It's definitely a possibility, but I think this behaviour is very likely subconscious. I don't think she's malicious, she doesn't know any way to mother other than this way. She doesn't know how to tell him "no" that's for sure, and his dad must be a nutless cuck to let her get away with this, or he's simply the same way himself.

Google Maps imagery from September 2018 at their address. Sikorsky has owned HSI, Inc. since the late 90s. I called their phone number just out of curiosity, the voicemail recording said HSI, a Sikorsky Company.

I am flabbergasted that he thinks they're gone when it's this fucking obvious they aren't.

He’s probably treating it as a “they wronged me, so they’re dead to
Me” kinda thing. Sort of how he treats YouTube, John Rambo and panda Lee

I always suspected since mama
Pigroach spoiled him so much and was overprotective. His dad gave up on him and just stuck around so he wouldn’t look like a scumbag dad. I know it sounds like I’m reaching for the sky but he did mention his parents cheating when he was younger and then eventually got divorced

That would be the sensible thing to do, so of course he won't do it. He'll wait until the housing market cools in Renton, then he'll bitch and whinge about how he "got fucked over" by life and there was "nothing he could do."

It's definitely a status symbol for him, part of his Real Adult Life(tm) Collection, along with his wife and her cat. Selling it would be to admit defeat. He'd rather hang on until the bitter end and try for that all-important refinance than do the prudent thing.

This is just an estimate. Also this doesn’t take into consideration of the state of the home. We know Phil doesn’t make repairs or upkeep anything. And as I’ve said multiple times, I’ll bet my ass he has black mold in his bedroom from the leak he had when he moved in. He never cut the drywall to check the damage inside the wall.
