He makes more than twice what I make in a month. Do I care? Hell no because I earn my money and live within my means and have a good life. He makes 10k a month and is probably the most miserable piece of subhuman shit I’ve ever seen.

This shit right here. All suffering comes from craving/desire, which is why even the minimum wage worker can live a perfectly happy simple life while DSP gets 10K a month and is still a miserable piece of shit.

The happiest people are happy with simple things they already have; a roof over your head, food on the table, being healthy, having good relationships.... The instant that person starts to crave that new 4K tv/that new Ferrari/that vacation with private jet/..., he'll start to be unhappy. DSP is the epitome of that. He's not happy with what he has, he's unhappy with what he doesn't have. That's why you could throw him as much money as you want, he'll always be a miserable sack of shit because the second he has something he wanted, instead of being happy with what he got, he already starts craving that next unnecessary thing.

Happy people are happy to be alive, miserable sacks of shit like DSP are unhappy they don't live in a mansion.

I didn't really care about what time it is where Phil lives (until now) because I live in a completely different timezone and just lol

Ends 1st stream at 1:15 PM (or earlier), doesn't stream again until 6:45 PM. So this dude has roughly a 6 hour break between streams, yet he bitches about how he has NO free time whatsoever and needs to take a whole fucking day off to do laundries, do the dishes, clean Jasper's litterbox and go to Fred Meyer's.

What the fuck does he do during that 6 hours break? Watch wrestling while babysitting uploads and eats dinner? I can't even see how all that would take 6 hours. Going to Fred Meyer's would take roughly an hour if he doesn't waddle around like a dumbass and makes a shopping list beforehand to know what to buy

And Khet took a 2 week vacation, so he has no fucking excuse to not say he does not have time to spend with his soulmaid

Imagine making thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars every month, and then shoveling all that money straight into a debt hole and THEN owe, probably more thousands, in overdraft fees to the bank EVERY MONTH.

I think my initial point was misunderstood. I'm not saying that he doesn't scam nor am I saying that he doesn't make more money than he deserves. What I am saying is that he isn't self-aware enough or popular enough to keep this gravy train rolling and his recent numbers have shown that. He has literally run out of ideas and simply uses generic "emergencies" now to get diminishing returns. I'm saying Phil isn't smart enough to make a huge living scamming viewers for an extended period of time because he just isn't intelligent enough.

Phil doesn't make 120k a year. After seeing all the spreadsheets and the like, I think people grossly over-calculate his income. Twitch streamers with twice his audience size don't make that much. I'd say his income fluctuates between 80-90k a year and given his independent health care, two properties, tax evasions, and not really having any valued assets, I'd say his financial troubles are likely fairly realistic. But he simply has to downgrade his lifestyle, not lose everything. His situation is very fixable. He just doesn't want to sacrifice anything, d00d. Phil could very comfortably live in a lower income tax state like a lot of streamers do.

I'm fully prepared to accept that I'm wrong, but my numbers put him well above $100k (pre-tax). You can check my monthly roundup posts and point out what you disagree with, but I'm gonna need more than a gut feeling to say that I'm off by $30k-40k, you know?

People always tend to take the highest possible valuation of things (such as his YouTube revenue) when they look at how much he's making.

While his tips/subs/patreon is accurate, he's not really making much compared to where someone his age 'should' be making in Seattle at this point in his "career".

The youtube revenue is likely nonexistent and the man's not even living in a low cost of living area, which is what most non-idiot streamers do.

And lets not forget he's supporting his part-time mall employee wife.

Phil's financial troubles will always be because more goes out than comes in, but it's not like he's making 'a lot' of money on the grift, he's barely staying afloat.

Similarly, if you have some insight on what Youtube's CPM is like for a video game-based channel, I'm all ears. Numbers from 2016-2017 suggested that the CPM was an average of $2, so I use a range from $1-$3.

Anyone has a simple list of these fundraises with the date/amount? Out of curiosity.

He got at least $1810 for this one (plus whatever he gets tonight). His two pre-CT trip ones, he got $1127 in March and $1319.17 in April. Both of those were well short of his stated goal but are also significant chunks of money. If there's any others you're thinking of, tag me and let me know.

I do agree that I think he's starting to run out of manufactured crises. I talk to some of the bigger spenders, and more than a few are starting to express disgust at his never-ending financial woes. Whether that translates into less money? We'll have to see.

Well, at least I'm not like Dave.

Thats why all of his whales are wheelchairs or otherwise people that society has beaten on. That's why they not only are ok with Dave shitting on them, they expect it. When they give him $100, and see no thanks in return, they still see an old, pathetic, sad excuse for a man spending his entire life on the same broken ass 'no love' seat. And that makes them feel better.

I'm starting to think that there is a crisis but its not what you think. I think he's addicted to spending. If you watch his old CT videos his condo was barren, he barely had any nice things or clothes. Once the YT money came in I think he really got addicted to that lifestyle. So I do think a financial crisis looms because he is spending all his money right away. On what? eating at restaurants and whatever he is hiding from us downstairs. Maybe Kat has expensive taste, Leanna was low maintence.
