I can't believe Aysha's father indirectly insulted his own daughter compare her with Feferi. Under used, wasted potential, and kill off like it was nothing.

I like Vast Error but there are other fan works that made before Vast Error. Some cringy or not or both(praise Cool and New Webcomic). and then there's some that want to fix homestuck because the awful ending like TLCstuck (it has flaws but fixes a lot a problem like keeping Vriska dead and Jade has an arc).
the only reason why they talked a lot about vast error is because they are friend with the author and wrote some part of Snowblood.

How would being trans work in a society that kills you if you so ever display any sort of disability or disease at child birth? And how would you go about transitioning? Did Vriska transition with help of the labs located in their hideout? Or was it before the trolls played the game?
Granted there is a transtroll in Friendsim (and later in Hiveswap) but I haven't really looked them up because fuck that noise.

Additionally, Vriska isn't like Kanaya, who's strictly into girls. She had feelings for two boys, even dated both of them after they both died.

She dated three boys actually. People always forget Eridan. They broke up, but there was canonically a mutual blackrom thing going on between them before the events of Hivebent.

Calling her lesbian is what the kids these days call bi erasure. It's not very woke at all.

Why the fuck would a notoriously tough character be slighted by something as inconsequential as being called "dude"? A lot of trannies in real life don't even care about that.

Honestly, there's fairly little creator drama going on. And with Hiveswap Act 2 apparently beginning to actually exist (who would've thought?) it might be better to turn it into an all-general purpose Homestuck fandom thread, because in the era of virtue signaling harder than anyone could ever imagine, there's surely some comedy gold out there.

For those who aren't "in the know", Vriska being polarizing is kind of why she's one of the most remembered characters in the comics. She is VERY love or hate, and there's decent reasons for both ways. Gamzee is essentially the same. There's a scene in Vriska's good ending where you kill her abusive spidermom by kicking it into a volcano, preceded by these lines:



Do keep in mind that Gamzee ALSO has a neglectful parent, and took mindnumbing drugs and is part of a blood caste that inherently believes in religion and is prone to insanity/religion-driven murderfests. I thought this was supposed to be partially ironic, considering the literal "did nothing wrong" reference and the fact that the MSPA Reader doesn't see any of the other horrible things she does. But...well, I guess it wasn't.

They're literally attempting to align two morally grey characters and having a fit when no one buys into it.

Vriska made a character she constantly tortured (Tavros) fuse with an animal he is really allergic to (GCAT), which is a permanent fusion. (Granted one character made him a placebo cure but who knows when that will stop working?) Vriska is not an innocent victim. Althought, she was raised under a society that enforces cruelty and mistrust in order for the tyrannical ruler to control them, trolls are still able to love and care for one another. Vriska always had this messed up notion that she was the hero of the story, that she's the only one that could fix anything. And guess what happens when she takes matters into her own hands and faces off against one of the big bad guys? Her close friend gets killed because she was too full of herself to ever realize that she would leave a trail leading the bad guy to where her friend was in hiding. This prompted her friend to kill her so she could prevent it from happening.

The things she's complaining about the Gamzee character still applies to Vriska. She still did what upper class members do to peasants, which is murder, even after leaving that culture to die. Literally the guy she murdered wanted to stop her from exposing their hideout from their enemy but she was too exceptional to listem to him because she thought her way of thinking was more rational.
