You know what I might actually pay to see? DSP explains it. Just takes a question asked by someone about something he has no understanding of (pretty wide range there that includes basically everything) and tries to explain it to the best of his knowledge. I find him talking shit about things he clearly doesn't understand to be some of the most entertaining shit for whatever reason. I just really want to hear him explain how shit like momentum, gravity, basic physics, and game design work, in detail.

That’s typical behavior of someone who wasn’t raised around money who fell into money: wastes it on stupid shit.

This idiot got accustomed to a lifestyle he should never had access to and has been unwilling to scale his lifestyle back down to a sustainable level.

His behavior has to have consequences. Everything does. I’m just shocked it’s taking so long: how much more pressure can he put on the backs of those who have been supporting him for years until enough is enough?

There's scripture that applies to Phil's behavior.

1 Timothy 6:9-10 KJV
"But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition."
"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

To add on to @actually 's post:
I think the reason Dave is almost the perfect storm of unique pathetic streamer that still pulls in money is all due to WALINX (I'm fucking going to make it a thing on KF I swear to god)
Well, at least I'm not like Dave.

It's called around here, :alog: ing. Alternatively, Mad on the Internet, once the tophat rating got renamed for non-Christorians joining the site.

I like that apparently Phil is a highly compensated self-employed slave for life. If he showed any aptitiude for how money actually works, he'd be able to quit streaming and absorbing all those hurtful memes directed his way years ago now, but instead, it's credit debt cycle to the grave since he's unable to master the idea that all your possesions aren't an asset. The entitlement is distasteful though, very similar to a gender flipped Amber Reid, right down to the bad food choices before his soul-maid tried to pull him out of that particular life spiral with greater success, probably because Kat's 200+ pounds lighter than Amber's rag on a stick operator over in Kentucky.

I also want to offer my congratulations for the 17 of you who voted Kat would not appear this Halloween stream due to work, at least that's what DSP claimed yesterday, so we'll have to take his word for it as to that being the deciding factor.

I kind of want to see Phil raise the goal even higher next time just so that he keeps bleeding his paypigs dry without shame. At this point they deserve it.

Ace Rothstein: "But I knew the trick with whales like Ichikawa was that they can't bet small for long. He didn't think of it as winning $10,000; he thought of it as losing $90,000. So, he upped his bets."

DSP probably lost $200 yesterday by just not making the tip goal $2,000 instead of $1,800. He's probably kicking himself.

Some kiwis have theorized that Phil developed his spending habits as a result of not having money while growing up. I doubt this theory since the only evidence we have is Phil's word.

Here's some of my arguments. Phil gave his 3rd grade teacher a $50 bottle of perfume. Would a family that's trying to make ends meet allow their kid to give their teacher a $50 gift in 1990? $50 was a lot more money 30 years ago when a gallon of gas was $1 and the federal minimum wage was $3.80.

They took Phil to the arcade once a week and the comic book store once a week.

Phil's mom didn't work. Dave was the sole income for their house. He apparently made enough money that they were able to take in Phil's cousin and raise her.

They have at least 5 cats. Cats aren't necessarily that expensive, but if you are living hand to mouth, 5 cats is a bit excessive. They also got Phil a bunny. Again, a bunny isn't necessarily expensive, but they had a custom grave stone made for it when it died.

They sent Phil to a private Catholic school for 12 years. A poor family would not be able to do this.

I speculate Phil had a very comfortable upbringing and never went hungry.

We haven't gotten to the worst part of this yet.

DSP isn't ahead on his begging; he's BEHIND.

I'm sure the $1800 was an actual bill he had to pay, whatever it was. So in his mind, he hasn't been able to raise funds for his normal BILLS in over a week.

Either today or tomorrow, he will mention how he needs EXTRA money now to pay for his regular bills because he had to put all his money from the last week towards the emergency.

Just giving you guys a heads-up on why he will be begging for EXTRA money today/tomorrow despite just getting $1800.

Begception. How many layers of grift will we see by the end of the year?

Is that one Baggins guy still giving shekels to Phil? I remember he defected to a detractor camp a while back but then went back to Phil. I'm not sure.

Swagginz is not giving money any more that I can see. I think he did a few 50 bit cheers very early on when he started showing back up, but that's it. He's also been gifted subs but has never paid for one himself that I can see.

I thought he came back as omnipotent froggins? And if that was him I recall a few bit cheers recently and don’t quote me on this but a possible tip contribution

Shit and in less than a month he has to start hinting at the christmas begathon so that his piggies will be nice and primed to dig and dig deep to help him out of a big $behind_the_scenes_holiday_emergency. He sure is packing them in close this year, anyone want to bet when the first "Guys i'm nervous" drops? I'm going to put mine on two weeks. I'll put another on him developing spontaneous "choking" around the holidays as well.

500$ tip goal today after he got 1800$ just yesterday. his greed knows no bounds.

If the cucks that financially support him don’t boycott or revolt or do something, nothing will ever happen to Phil. It’s frustrating that he gets away with this.

I do feel the more brazen he gets in demanding this money, the less he’ll receive but we’ve all been proved wrong before.
