A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

She was forced to use a name tag with a pre-transition picture & faced daily hatred - someone even drew a penis on her bathroom door. Now she's suing.

Diane Roberts, a transgender woman in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is suing her former employer, ABF Freight Inc., for discrimination, harassment, and firing her.


The details in Roberts’ court filing show how much harassment she allegedly suffered before ultimately losing her job, from being forced to use a filthy restroom that was vandalized with a penis on the door to getting regularly deadnamed and misgendered.


Roberts started working for ABF Freight as a diesel technician in May 2013. Then, in December that year, she announced to the company’s Human Resources department and her manager that she intended to transition.


At the time, no other women worked at the facility and all her other co-workers were male. Because of this, the building lacked restrooms or locker rooms where women could relieve themselves and change into their work uniforms.


Roberts suggested that the downstairs bathroom be converted to accommodate her gender. She also asked for a female uniform and for several days off at the start of February 2016 during which time the company would inform her co-workers of her transition, her pronouns and other anti-harassment and discrimination protocols using resources from the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico (TRCNM) so she could safely return as her female self afterwards.


The company agreed to all these conditions and, Robert says, they broke nearly all these promises. They didn’t contact TRCNM, they refused to get her a female uniform, supervisors regularly misgendered her, and one regularly played loud radio programs bashing the transgender people well within her earshot.


Instead of making the downstairs restroom a women’s restroom as promised, Roberts said they made it gender neutral and allowed other male employees and visitors to use it even though male employees already had their own designated restroom.


After Roberts returned to work, someone drew a penis on the bathroom door, covered its doorknob in engine grease, glued its light switch in the off position and regularly tore her air fresheners off the wall, and left foul-smelling things in its garbage can. Co-workers also began urinating in the bathroom with the door open. The company never investigated any of this, Roberts claims, and generally refused to clean the bathroom.

The company’s uniform provider offered to install a downstairs bathroom hamper so Roberts wouldn’t have to walk into the men’s locker room to deposit her dirty uniform or retrieve clean ones, but ABF Freight refused. When they finally built a women’s changing room, it was just an unlocked, partitioned area close to her male coworkers. Its open walls allowed others to peek in while she was changing. It also had no showers or sink to help her clean off mechanical grease and grime.


When Roberts complained, her supervisor called her “sir” and by her “deadname.” He also gave Roberts a new employee identification card with her deadname and old male picture on it.


Her co-workers sabotaged her mechanic work. One glued her toolbox shut and another refused to work alongside her in repair bays. She was also told on hot days that she had to keep her workshirt buttoned all the way up and that she could never strip down to a tank top, per company policy. She was never given a copy of this policy and her male co-workers were allowed to do both.


When she began to regularly miss work due to stress over workplace harassment, her supervisor refused her copies of doctor’s notes, demanding the originals, even though he had taken copies of other employees’ doctors notes in the past. She was eventually fired for missing too many days of work due to stress.


After being fired, she filed a complaint with the Human Rights Bureau of the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions. The bureau said she had “probable cause” for a discrimination claim. Afterwards, she filed a civil claim in New Mexico’s courts. The state’s laws forbid workplace discrimination based on gender identity. The ACLU will represent her in court.

Cobb legislator proposes new law to criminalize physical gender change of children

State Rep. Ginny Ehrhart, R-Powder Springs, wants to make it a felony to change a child’s gender through surgery or drugs and plans to introduce her “Vulnerable Child Protection Act” in the Georgia General Assembly.

Ehrhart issued a news release Wednesday morning announcing her sponsorship of the new bill, for consideration in the 2020 Georgia legislative session starting in January.

“The Vulnerable Child Protection Act is not an attempt to infringe on the rights of adults to make lifestyle choices for themselves,” Ehrhart said in her news release. “This is about children who are being abused by adults.”

The proposed bill, if passed through the Georgia Senate and signed into law, would make it a felony crime to perform “radical” surgery on, or administer drugs to a minor for the purpose of attempting to change their gender. This would include sterilization, mastectomy, vasectomy, castration and other forms of genital mutilation, as well as any medication that causes infertility or blocks or delays “normal” puberty, according to Ehrhart’s news release.

The act would also make it illegal to give a male child estrogen or a female child testosterone for gender change purposes, Ehrhart said.

The removal of otherwise healthy or non-diseased body parts from minor children would also be prohibited, her news release stated.

She said such “child abuse” is “becoming a serious problem in Georgia and is evolving into national crisis,” citing her research of the topic over the past 18 months.

“I believe the time is now to strike while the iron’s hot,” Ehrhart told the MDJ. “There is an alarming trend in this country, as evidenced by stories we’ve seen in the news media, and I have received many concerning phone calls and emails from constituents and Georgians across the state that are concerned about the trend in treating the issue of gender dysphoria.”

Ehrhart did not want to detail specific cases, but said she knows several parents and families in Georgia who have aided gender changes or transitions for their children under the age of 18 and had a hard time of it.
“Sex reassignment surgery in children does occur, I’ve spoken with families that have walked this path. Some are willing to come and testify before House committees and some are not, but they are nonetheless a valuable resource,” Ehrhart said.

She said she knows there are doctors in Georgia who are willing to perform radical gender change surgery or prescribe medication for this, and they are the ones targeted by her proposed law in its current draft form.
“We’re still dealing with the issue on the parents’ side,” she said. “In its present draft, the law specifically deals with the health care professionals licensed in the state of Georgia to perform these procedures or prescribe these drugs. This is not about adults changing their gender after the age of consent, or an indictment of the transgender community.”

Ehrhart said there are no reliable or reputable studies on the long-term effects of administering gender change or puberty blocking medication to children, which is another motivation behind her bill to “codify” legal and illegal practices.

“We are talking about children who have not reached the legal age of consent and yet are being subjected to life-altering, irreversible surgeries and drug treatments that render them sterile and permanently disfigured,” she said. “The psychological damage this does to innocent children must come to an end. This legislation makes such abusive actions criminal.”

Controversy

Ehrhart’s proposed law is already controversial, despite it still being finalized.

Chanel Haley, the gender policy manager for Georgia Equality and the Equality Foundation of Georgia, said she is baffled by the proposed legislation, because the gender change measures it references are not happening to children, either in Georgia or elsewhere in the United States.

“There’s not a doctor in this country that’s ever done surgery on a child to change their gender in the ways described,” Haley said in reference to Ehrhart’s news release. “Doctors do not allow children under the age of 18 to have gender change operations or procedures, it’s against the national and global standards that all doctors have to follow.”

Georgia Equality is an Atlanta-based state organization aimed at advancing fairness, safety and opportunity for Georgia’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied communities.

Haley said the best practice standards she mentioned are set by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, formerly the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association.

A doctor who performed gender change surgery on a child, as described by Ehrhart, would also be in conflict of the American Medical Association guidelines, Haley said.

“Everybody goes by these rules, it’s how it’s always been,” she said about WPATH and AMA standards. “This whole thing is just a waste of time and it’s not only an attack on the transgender community, it’s an attack on Atlanta because there is a large LGBTQ community here.”

Ehrhart’s opponent in last November’s general election, Democrat Jen Slipakoff, is also critical of the proposed legislation, calling it an “egregious overstep of the government’s role in a doctor-patient relationship.”

“It’s also incredibly ill-informed,” Slipakoff told the MDJ. “It concerns me that Mrs. Ehrhart doesn’t have a grasp on some of the most basic treatments involved in the transition process yet feels qualified to write legislation making it illegal. For example, children are not being castrated — that’s simply not a thing that is even happening.”

I can't get over how horrific the term 'gender-affirming' is in this context (any context, really). Castration or nullification would be less offensive terms there, I'm certain. Also, 'transmasculine'! Any professional using those terms should automatically be imprisoned for a period not less than 15 years, and those applying them to children should face immediate execution.

The ABF uniform for mechanics looks to be a standard khaki button down with patches featuring the corporate name and logo. For truckers they sometimes get a leather-sleeved baseball jacket— even the women.

In the case where a custom uniform is demanded, say for an employee who is pregnant or an amputee, it’s not at all difficult for employers to accommodate the request. Uniform companies do that specialized shit all the time. So if ABF, which is a nice big company, needed a men’s dress shirt with extra room up top to accommodate some dude’s new tiddies, it’s be short work.

Want to feel better about getting mail in your "deadname"? There are people out there who dread the mailbox because they're getting mail to the names of their actually dead loved ones. Their parents, spouses, or children's names still appear on those mass mailers, and it sucks, because they buried those people and sometimes saw them die painfully in front of them, or in their arms.

Given how many people are actively mourning a loss, there's undoubtedly more of them than there are total trans people. But of course, it's so much more important when it happens to a trans person. Exposure therapy and coping with your demons are for normies. Trans people should be able to force others to ignore decades of history in order to avoid ever reminding them that those years existed.

If there are no women in a workplace then every bathroom becomes gender neutral by default, they will just be marked WC or something generic like that. The woke should really celebrate workplaces that have always been 100% male for being progressive like that, it would be in line with the rest of their stupidity.

Back to the troon mechanic and the changing room, it mentions that someone could peek at him... why would anyone do that, that is typical troon fantasy. If he transitioned while working there then everyone has seen him in the locker room already. Unless he has something to hide, like big gal lacy thongs and bras. Which would be commendable, I wish more of them kept things like that to themselves.
