One thing Nick mentioned in his stream kind of stuck with me as a thunk I've been having... Where the fuck did it come from that alerting someone that if they continue to do something that is damaging to you, that you're going to seek legal remedy - is somehow "harassment" or "threatening"?

It's literally a threat to say you're going to do something. It's a threat you're entitled to make, though. Arguably, you're somewhat obligated to give a warning before suing.
