Yeah, because Lemoine so doesn’t have connections with Dallas Morning News, no way.

And who knew Lemoine was such a media hog?

Lemoine wants to fight a media war. That's something he has full confidence in, regardless of how the court case goes. Even with ANN the number of court related articles rose steadily after Lemoine got involved. Before it was just "Vic man bad" articles. He does like his embellished "war stories" as we all saw from his atrocious storytelling. Dude lives in a masturbatory fantasy fueled by the news.

What he underestimates though is the power of weeb sperging.

Or maybe he doesn’t realize that all it takes is one Google search and his cover is blown.

Media war is what got his clients into this in the first place. Hope most of those causes of action come back on appeal so he can strut around some more while not getting paid.

The entirety of KV underestimated the weebs. Weebs are many things, many autistic things, but damn if they aren’t steadfast and united in that sperging.

Oh, hella gay. The gayiest. But not as gay as this:

How did this even happen? Appeals haven't started, yet.
I for one, gave up on reading what I missed and just skipped forward to the lastest posts. Most likely half the posts were just pointing and laughing at dumb opinions on twitter so I think I'll be good.
Carribean Con (the con Vic's at right now) uploaded this short clip to their Facebook page.

Shows again how appreciative Vic is of his fans. Dude gave him a Broly drawing and Vic acts like it's the best gift he's ever received. He even gave the dude a big hug, that was nice to see. Sad that he probably will never just get up and give a hug like that to a female fan ever again. Those hugs are the best. Not to sound too gamergate-y, but I guess this is the future feminists want lol.

By the way: That's his new gf in the background, the one siting on the blue chair. Guess it's okay for me to point that out, since I'm not giving away her identity. Now some of you guys know what she looks like. She does have a nice smile, and I don't mean that ironically.
What a nice wholesome thing to come back to.

I'm pretty sure KiA would call this a Tier 3 Blacklist.
Why the fuck does everyone keep parroting this filing to dismiss appeal shit? The strongest case that has is it's too early, in which case ty can refile it instantly once it can be. This is the equivalent of getting upset that a french fry fell out of your hand and into your mouth. Sure it fell, but the endpoint didn't change, so why care.

Thinking about Lemoine going after slatosch, what if it is a PR stunt for "Plausible Deniability?"

1. The sanctions come up short for paying for everything. "Oh, we were going to show that Vic was going to keep suing people but Chupp prevented us from doing it."

2. Or "We did everything we could to prevent the conspiracy against our defendants but they got to the judges."

Basically anything to pass the blame away from Lemoine.

Pretty big imagedump under the spoiler. Chuck went on a tirade that's still ongoing about "both sides", forgiveness, healing the community etc. He's been answering to a bunch of people, I couldn't even archive it all, would have taken ages, but I caught some of it. It doesn't necessarily make him look bad, but pretty removed from reality. Don't think he'd be saying these things if he were in Vic's shoes right now. Someone suggested Chuck made a backroom deal with MoRon based on his words, but I don't think so.

The archive site kept dying every two minutes, so, that's cool.

What really grinds my gears is that there was a person that told Chuck (if I remember correctly) that they were horriffically abused as a child and suffered brain damage from it and that was why they couldn't forgive Marchi and Monica for falsely claiming to be victims. Chuck, and that genuinely angered me, gave his typical: "You have to forgive." response, but he worded it in such a disingenious way. I saw this yesterday but did NOT archive it immediately. I didn't even screenshot it, for fucks sake. Now I can neither find the tweets by that person nor Chuck's tweets. I remembered what the person said, but only quickly glanced over Chuck's response, so now I can't precisely say what he said, only that it was enraging. Sorry for fucking up. Sucks that there's no evidence now.

I'm not sure where I stand with Chuck. He's weird.
He doesn't deserve to be thrown under the bus for throwing the whistle.
But god he really comes off strangely. Like almost unsettling. And it's not like a creepy unsettling, it's definitely like he lives in his own made up world.

I think he’s trying to fix the anime community in his own way. He’s not the #BeThere type, and his affidavit was more of Okatron being run like a frat house, so he’s probably tired of the lack of professionalism in his scene.

Object as non-responsive.

I agree. I actually had a brief Twitter chat with him and I asked him where the healing was in the other side harassing and doxing, and he asked, “Where’s the healing in you? We cannot expect from others what we are unwilling to give to ourselves”. He also said that it’s no fun to be upset at the actions of others, that it requires courage to handle “one of the hardest puzzles we face in life”.

I must admit, I was taken aback because it was so unexpected, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Chuck just wants us to set better examples of ourselves. He essentially saying what Vic said earlier this year and that’s show kindness and positivity and not stoop to the level of negativity and hate. It’s a shame that his peers can’t seem to share that mentality.

Judging by these tweets, Chuck seems very exhausted and burned out by what’s been happening. Honestly, I don’t blame him and I genuinely feel sad for him. Chuck has been friends with Vic, Jamie, Monica et al for almost two decades; no one can comprehend the pain of seeing your best friends in a legal war with each other. The fact that Chuck is replying to these fans in a critical but classy manner and immediately proves that. It’s not like Schemmel calling fans “assholes” or AWL using stupid gifs as comebacks.

Ideally, it would be nice if Vic, Monica and Jamie could somehow sit down, talk about their issues, bury the hatchet and even try to be friends. But we all know that’s never going to happen, especially if even mediation couldn’t resolve this. I feel terrible for people like Chuck because you could tell he just wants this community to heal, and it’s beyond his reach.

I think Chuck isn’t a bad dude but he’s definitely caught between a rock and a hard place. I think he genuinely wants this all to go away and for the community to heal but at this point that’s pretty much impossible with people like Monica, Marchi, and the rest of the Couch Squad. He is naive but I think he’s saying the wrong things but with the best intentions in mind. He’s definitely weird but I think for his own sanity being caught in this hard spot he told himself he had to learn to be forgiving.

Not the right thing for everyone and especially is not going to help because certain people are not sorry for what they did. But I still can’t hold this against Chuck. He’s still of a different time where usually people let this stuff go and it eventually sorts itself out and people move on. That is impossible in today’s era. People don’t do that anymore.

Chuck, I know you mean well but I’m sorry chief, this unfortunately ain’t it. As much as I wish it was.
