It was supposed to go down with all hands, and the Israelis were planning on blaming it on the Egyptians to bring us into the war. There's a little bit of declassified Israeli material on it but it's hard to find.

That couldn't conceivably have worked with visibly Israeli jet fighters attacking a research ship that might as well have been made out of radios.

You'd think, but word only got out about the attack because the original attack failed to sink the ship immediately. The intent was to kill everyone aboard, which is why they spent nearly an hour strafing the decks after the initial strike. The Israeli leadership seemed to think that there was a good enough chance that it would work thanks to the fog of war that they could do it, and if it didn't work then they wouldn't suffer any punishment anyway.
 
So for the past few hours Ian has been involved in a full blown autism holy war with author Scott Greer on Twitter. It's all over the Nick Fuentes drama.

Let's not forget his extremely colourful internet history regarding cookies, how and where they should be baked, and how glorious the baker Uncle Adolf is. This makes no sense from an optics standpoint, now a wider audience knows his past, what did he achieve? Pwn some Nazis? What a joke. "Made Nazi jokes when I was 15" says the fat rat-toothed gook that appears on several streams featuring white nationalists during the bloodsports era.

Everytime someone brought it up he always say that he apologized for it
But if you read his apologize it was back in his game journalist days and basically put the blame on "toxic gaming community" because taking responsibility is a bit too much for him.
But it's also funny because he is in the same "toxic gaming community" now and pander to them and sell them his shitty shirts
And people still take him seriously
Which is something I could never get.
