I'm sure they'd make excuses for themselves and say that they don't like it and they're doing what they can but they do nothing about it. Making videos about how evil it is doesn't stop it. Imagine if we continued the analogy, you're a consumer of CP but you tell other consumers of CP that it's awful how it's made. It wouldn't even begin to absolve you. If someone brought up that as a defense we'd view them as being even worse because they're rank hypocrites hiding behind a wafer thin veneer of "I don't really like it".

The hypocrisy here is overflowing. "Let's make videos that directly fuel a capitalist company! (not to mention my bank already bloated bank account)." At the very least they could live as paupers and donate their money to actually try to make a difference, instead of patting themselves on the back for pointing out something that everyone already knows to a bunch of people who will, at most, go on to point that out to others as a result of their videos. At the very least they could shill for charities, but instead they shill for their patreon.

Most breadtube guys seem to really harbor disdain for the concept of a marketplace of ideas, ignoring that's how most functioning systems of government work. Anyone foolish enough to have a slightly differing opinion must be a hate filled mouth breathing troglodyte who must take issue with any and every marginalized, oppressed, or disenfranchised group that has ever or will ever exist.

I skimmed through some of this " tranimegirl" persons videos. It's just some pedantic weeb troon, he at least seems to have a realistic outlook on the trans rights movement compared to pigpuncher. The Deviantart anime girl avatar and strange attempted falsetto are equally as exceptional as pig is though.

This was used in culmination with the various fluff pieces written about Nyk with him being interviewed by various outlets. Suddenly an unremarkable minecraft streamer gets treated like a big deal. However, this growth is unorganic, something that Alex is maybe starting to learn as he only averages 50 viewers. His infrequent schedule is also a major problem for keeping an audience engaged, and finally his own audience, according to some of my contacts in his server, is going constantly through various sperg outs, people getting banned as the "edgy" streamer can't handle criticism or bants.

He should have been able to take is inorganic growth into organic. The hardest part is getting a small amount of people to initially watch. He just has nothing to deliver.
