I know I’m late, but I have to bring up that Romeo and Juliet is the exact opposite of that. It’s about kids being fucking retarded, even going so far as to have two characters at the end shittalk the two retards who committed rope-neck.

I used to know people in high school who had the gothic contact lenses and wore all black. They were just guys or girls who were usually insecure and wanted to look tough because they knew they weren't. It was kinda sad.

Ah, another addition to the convoluted history of Sophie Labelle. IMO, if you’re going to give a character such a notable feature, either keep it mysterious or explain in the story. The consent one is the only comic of his that makes any sense. The trouble with it is that it flies in the face of current Troon ideology. If you are making out with a troon (who doesn't tell you that they are -- and you are too drunk or too stupid to figure it out) and you decide to revoke your consent when you discover that they have genitals you aren't attracted to, you're a nasty transphobe. If you say you won't date a trans, you are a nasty transphobe. They spend an inordinate amount of time trying to browbeat and guilt people into saying that they will date a trans. That's forced consent -- not an enthusiastic yes.
