  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I was curious about Paige's 412-day hospitalization and just how she managed to get herself in the situation she's in now, so here, have many photos and also a bunch of words describing how paige is a liar who doesn't tell the truth and is also very ridiculous.

This should go without saying but there's some real gross shit under this spoiler here. Infected surgical sites, blood, jars of pus, open wounds, and bags full of stomach contents. Amongst other things.

captions cut off because I was originally just fucking around with no intention of turning this into anything or sharing it but then i couldn't stop myself, sorry, this became another timeline. I do have her whole social media backed up including captions and comments in case she decides to nuke it after this.

For the first few months of posting it was just the sad walrus being sad and/or hanging out with her friends. boring.

May 23, 2018: new NG drain and NJ feeding tubes placed, both in the same nostril and taped to the same cheek.
View attachment 996635

July 13, 2018: "escaped from hospital" #piccline. No mention of what she's in for, but the NJ tube is now secured with "don't fuck with this" tape.
View attachment 996636

July 19, 2018: her birthday. sporting the classic "sad walrus" NJ feeding and NG drain tubes in different nostrils, a PICC, and a subq line, #gastroparesis. By the 28th she's posting from home. The rash on her stomach is Erythema ab igne also known as "hot water bottle rash" or "toasted skin syndrome". It's from prolonged and repeated exposure to a heating pad or other heat source. Permanent, slight risk of developing skin cancer from it, but otherwise benign.

August 2-3: using the awesome power of math, we can determine that this was the day she started the 412-day hospitalization.

August 6:
Peripheral IV woes, has to have a line placed in her foot. Claims it took six hours, eleven attempts, seven people, and an ultrasound to get a patent line. No mention of why she's hospitalized.
View attachment 996637

August 8, 2018: Unsure if this is an NG tube and an iPod earbud or an NG and an NJ in the same nostril. Now has the "hey, I said stop fucking with this" securement tape.
View attachment 996605

August 9, 2018: only peripheral lines, only an NG tube, normal securement.
View attachment 996601

August 10, 2018: PICC line inserted, now has a fun new sepsis-portal to play with, the plastic bucket by her shoulder looks like it's connected to her NG tube to catch the grossness leaking out of it.
View attachment 996602

August 11, 2018: Still only an NG, now with "seriously don't fuck with this" tape again.
View attachment 996608

August 15, 2018: Mystery casts appear, NJ is back and now it's bridled. Until now she's not really explained the disappearing NJ although later she claims she vomited it up frequently. However bridling is done when the patient is pulling on the tube, and it seems like this would be a bad idea if she was legitimately vomiting it up.
View attachment 996609

August 21: new mystery casts, #sepsis and a person in the comments asking how casts help with an infection, lol. The thing on her lap is a niki pump, a syringe driver for delivering a dose of whatever is in the syringe inside of it at a controlled rate.
View attachment 996616

August 25: same mystery casts, PICC access is now taped to the back of her arm where she can't get at it
View attachment 996618

August 29: Casts gone
View attachment 996622

September 16: PICC access is clipped to her shoulder where she can reach it, no longer bridled
View attachment 996624

October 5: Sepsis #2 and she's cuddling up with a bag full of stomach juices (she reposted this months later without the emoji)
View attachment 996625View attachment 996781

October 7: sepsis, urinary infection, kidney infection, lung infection, pneumonia, influenza. Claims her mom wrote this for her because of memory loss, so she would know how many things were killing her. mostly redundant, as in pneumonia is a lung infection, a kidney infection would fall under "urinary"...
View attachment 996626

October 8: claims she wasn't aware her friend came to visit her at all.
View attachment 996655

October 11: "after a week I'm finally awake and able to communicate" apparently forgets she's been updating social media all along. Now says she had "blood infections and severe sepsis" along with the things on the written list.
View attachment 996654

November 16: Peripheral IV in her foot again, suggesting PICC-chan is now gone
View attachment 996640

December 12: punch biopsy, rash of unknown origin, piss tube, and someone in the comments was talking about how Paige didn't know if she'd make it to Christmas. She sure showed us.
View attachment 996641

December 17: NG is gone
View attachment 996642

December 23: 140 days in the hospital. By this calculation her admission date was August 5.
View attachment 996643

December 30: She is now claiming that she has had five bouts of sepsis in 2018. Says this is 150 days in hospital. Admission date by this calculation: August 3. Reflecting on the fact that she is going to ring in the new year in the hospital, as she has celebrated every holiday and birthday for the past six months.
View attachment 996644

That same day she's out and about with her family from abroad, with a dramatic caption about how she thought she wouldn't live to see them again.
View attachment 996645

January 4, 2019: ultrasound of a mass in her chest
View attachment 996647

January 6: now crying because pissing through a tube isn't as fun as she thought it would be. Complaining about scans and cath changes and how everything is inconvenient for her. Complains she vomits every day. Note the lack of bridle.
View attachment 996648

January 8: the cast photo with a caption referring to "158 days... I've had sepsis 6 times." A week ago it was five times. Admission date by this calculation: August 1. Also claims 6 PICCs and an attempted 7th, 5 NJ replacements, can't control her bladder and is "bowel prep dependent" which is a novel way of saying "laxative addicted due to constant opiate use and IV antibiotics killing off all my gut flora". Also showing off that non-invasive ventilation style.
View attachment 996653

January 10: "vomited up" her NJ again. Just FYI some bulimics (and munchies) learn to purge "hands-free" by flexing certain muscles and I am pretty damn sure this is what Paige is doing to keep dislodging her njs. I'm also sure her doctors know it and that's why she's only sometimes bridled - she's not yanking it out that way. She's just making herself violently retch until it comes out of position.
View attachment 996665

January 12: NJ tube with "don't fuck with it" tape and now a grip-lok securement on her cheek which I have literally never seen in all my years staring at betubed munchies and ana-chans. It's to keep from accidentally dislodging and I don't know that it does much to prevent deliberate tampering.
View attachment 996667

January 20: gone again, naturally.
View attachment 996668

January 26: betchy'all wanted to see her piss bag again. Now discussing a suprapubic in the near future. First time tagging #ehlersdanlossyndrome
View attachment 996669

January 27: marking 11 days without a tube, claiming she cannot keep food or drink or even her vital medications down. Really pushing for that GJ.
View attachment 996670

January 30: still no nose hose, still claiming she pukes up anything that goes in her mouth, gets a bunch of new subq lines.
View attachment 996673

February 8: Comparing before losing her tube and after three weeks tubeless, claiming she hasn't kept a single thing down in the whole three weeks. Dehydration and weight loss are getting worse and hinting that she might have sepsis again.
View attachment 996674

February 12: marking 200 days since she last stood up and walked. Now making a physio plan that will get her walking again. "my amazing physios have been helping me and trying to get those signals to my legs to hold up but sadly no standing has happened in over 6 months." Translation: I have been wasting my physios' time for six months pretending my legs don't work.
View attachment 996676View attachment 996677

February 14: after complaining for a month about being tubeless and her doctors not taking any action, now complains that she's going to be tubed and making it sound like she was deliberately holding off on getting tubed again to see if she could recover any stomach function once she started eating again. Real reason she's complaining: it's another NJ instead of a PEG-J.
View attachment 996681

February 18: day 200 in the hospital. Old photo but taken during this hospitalization. Oh look, she's standing. On her own. With no walker or wheelchair in the frame, and no one there to grab her if she starts to go down. Almost like she can use her legs or something.
View attachment 996684

February 20: Tubed, bridled.
View attachment 996685

February 23: allowed to go home for a night. Gets wine and pizza. Miss "I can't keep my meds or even a sip of water down." Don't worry, she insists she's vomiting and in pain and paying for it but it was sooooo worth it.
View attachment 996686View attachment 996687

February 28: still losing weight even with her NJ tube. Had no problem finding a fatty area to inject something into while she was showing off her meds at home.
View attachment 996689

March 1: out of the hospital again. Drinks hard cider (but she vomited profusely!!) and dances (wheelchair style!!) and gets her hair bleached on a whim (but don't get her wrong, it's still a while before she can be discharged!!) Goes back to the hospital looking drunk af. i'm sure all the meds she takes play really well with alcohol.
View attachment 996690View attachment 996691

March 2: the literal next day, she's got this. Tubie pad is around a subq for some reason. (Gonna guess she bought tubie pads thinking she was going to get a surgical feeding tube, then they refused to do the surgery so she's using them to decorate her subq caths.) Also antibiotic-resistant bacteria has colonized her kidneys and bladder.
View attachment 996693

March 3: she's now officially diagnosed with autism and she's not ashamed!!
View attachment 996694

March 4: "When you and you bestie get to bond over our autism spectrum disorders, gastro problems, mobility problems and of course our new hair cuts" This girl is also fishing for the GP/EDS/POTS combo while swigging vodka and living a very active life. Paige is still vomiting everything and that gross thing on her stomach keeps getting bigger so now they're stopping her blood thinners.
View attachment 996697

March 6; home again and of course, booze. And Starbucks. It made her very ill!!! she vomited everything up!!!
View attachment 996698View attachment 996702View attachment 996701

March 7: she's still home, still complaining that she can keep nothing down and she's positively wasting away. Also posts this photo.

March 8: back at the hospital, immediate crisis. Doesn't explain. Love that collar pulled askew to show the tubie pad inexplicably wrapped around a subq.
View attachment 996707

March 9: "body isn't happy" and needs oxygen and nebulizer treatments. Flashing that tubie pad on her subq again.
View attachment 996708

March 13: 4 days without an NJ having "vomited it up" again.
View attachment 996710

March 16: two attention whores go to a fair. In case you didn't notice her less successful munchie friend has a fucking GOOSE in that stroller thing. Like, her pet goose. Because she didn't have a wheelchair and tubes to get attention with?
View attachment 996712

March 17: claims she and goose girl both have EDS and GP. Goose Girl is not diagnosed with either of these things. She just insists she has them while doctors say she's fine, lol.
View attachment 996713

March 20: nose hose is back and bridled, now practicing transferring because her legs don't work.
View attachment 996714

Wow, what a ride.
A ride indeed!

Those multi day breaks have me slightly suspicious about her thousand day admission (not hard considering she lied about pretty much everything). I’m wondering if she was discharged then did something to force them to admit her again? Either that or they just didn’t give a fuck about her going out to potentially speed up the world’s worst way to commit suicide.
Fair warning, I’m going to PL slightly because I live somewhere with almost identical healthcare, but I’ve had extended admissions like hers and at most I was let out for half a day with the promise that all I’d do is rest at home. I had no central lines, super bugs or access to anything connected to my blood stream in place either, neither was I actively dying or whatever she claims.

Every time I see a bridled tube I admit that I automatically pin the person as a munchie. I didn’t expect one of that level though, bloody hell! Thanks KFS, I thoroughly enjoyed that post. The tube pads around her catheter and subcut lines might have been my favourite part. Fucking lol, they’re so disgusting and unhygienic.

December 17: NG is gone
View attachment 996642

December 23: 140 days in the hospital. By this calculation her admission date was August 5.

Wow, what a ride.

What a ride :story: Do we know how old she is? Maybe 23-24?

And what kind of hospital lets you go out constantly on day trips? The whole hospital thing seems really weird to me, aren't long hospital stays of over a year exactly what hospital don't want at all?

For the first few months of posting it was just the sad walrus being sad and/or hanging out with her friends. boring.

Translation: I have been wasting my physios' time for six months pretending my legs don't work.

February 18: day 200 in the hospital. Old photo but taken during this hospitalization. Oh look, she's standing. On her own. With no walker or wheelchair in the frame, and no one there to grab her if she starts to go down. Almost like she can use her legs or something.

Holy crap. I can't get over the amount of resources wasted on her. And what is with the hospital allowing her to leave so much?

For the first few months of posting it was just the sad walrus being sad and/or hanging out with her friends. boring.

My only other clue is mcdonalds sitting next to me and the text i sent my sister in the afternoon asking her to bring me some" So... View attachment 996897

And so we come to the end of our journey for now: no NJ, no SPC, flesh-eating bacteria, multiple antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria growing on her, probably not actually 10 bouts of sepsis but at least a few, and one batshit crazy munchie who should just be left to die at this point, who is currently tempting Vibrio by swimming in the ocean with multiple infected, open wounds and an immune system that couldn't fight off a kitten right now.
View attachment 996901

Wow, what a ride.

Lmao slight PL but the June 2nd "crash cart" pic? Yeah, that's literally just a vitals machine. That's how they look in NZ hospitals. I love that she's munching.... a freaking blood pressure machine.

The October food eating out pic is roasted potatoes with gravy as far as I can tell, you can get them at mall food courts if they have a roast place.

What a ride :story: Do we know how old she is? Maybe 23-24?

And what kind of hospital lets you go out constantly on day trips? The whole hospital thing seems really weird to me, aren't long hospital stays of over a year exactly what hospital don't want at all?
She's 21 I believe.

Can Kiwi medicos explain what kind of care she's receiving. Her room in the mcdonald's birthday pic with her brother looks like a long term room of some sort---eating disorder treatment, psych? I cannot fathom the cost of a patient like her, both literally in terms of expense but also the psychic toll on staff.

View attachment 996603

December 30: She is now claiming that she has had five bouts of sepsis in 2018. Says this is 150 days in hospital. Admission date by this calculation: August 3. Reflecting on the fact that she is going to ring in the new year in the hospital, as she has celebrated every holiday and birthday for the past six months.

Almost like she can use her legs or something.

july 31: a retrospective view of all the times she broke her wrists as a teenager, saying these were clear signs of EDS. August 27: has ESBL and KB infections on her SPC site. I don't know what those are but I'm gonna guess "bad". She's also not tolerating her feeds and running a high fever and developing a respiratory infection. So naturalyl they let her go home for 48 hours because what could possibly go wrong?

View attachment 996897

And so we come to the end of our journey for now: no NJ, no SPC, flesh-eating bacteria, multiple antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria growing on her, probably not actually 10 bouts of sepsis but at least a few, and one batshit crazy munchie who should just be left to die at this point, who is currently tempting Vibrio by swimming in the ocean with multiple infected, open wounds and an immune system that couldn't fight off a kitten right now.
View attachment 996901

Wow, what a ride.

Paige is Jacq and Kelly’s horrorcow love-child.

Her whole situation is so confusing to me. Why was she in the hospital in the first place? During her one-year hospital celebration post (Aug. 3), she said she showed up at the hospital in “cardiac distress and was rushed to resus” and then the doctor asked her if she wanted to continue with her DNR. Was that before or after resuscitation? Because neither option makes sense. And why the fuck does she have a DNR in place with the hospital already? And how does EDS or GP cause you to need to be resuscitated?

Let’s say she’s telling the truth about everything and she’s not inducing any of her symptoms. Her GP somehow explains her nose hoses kinking in her stomach and being expelled, etc. Her EDS somehow explains her bizarre arm splints, disgusting tube wounds, and her wheelchair/inability to walk (lol). Her autism explains putting a tubie pad over a bandage. But what medical reason (besides self-inflicted) is she having “heart problems” and so many damn infections? It’s interesting she never gives details about what’s causing all this shit.

Besides the infections, why were her doctors keeping her in the hospital? And then why did they decide to give up on antibiotics?

I guess now she’s just waiting to die while multiple infections ravage her body. Slow, painful death because she couldn’t stop fucking with her tubes. Yikes.

Mad respect to Kelly’s immune system.

View attachment 996603

August 2-3: using the awesome power of math, we can determine that this was the day she started the 412-day hospitalization.

August 6:
Peripheral IV woes, has to have a line placed in her foot. Claims it took six hours, eleven attempts, seven people, and an ultrasound to get a patent line. No mention of why she's hospitalized.

Wow, what a ride.
This is probably my favorite dump in this thread. I tried making sense of Paige's insta when she was first brought up but didn't know enough to spot what was really going on. When she wheeled herself out into the sea she should've just kept going, only Kelly and crocodiles could come out the other end of so many antibiotic resistant infections.

Love the don't fuck with anything arm casts. Too bad they can only do them for a short period of time. Too bad wrist restraints are out of pc fashion.

I need to know the IG of goose girl. PL I raise geese...not sure even my friendliest goose would put up with the stroller thing.

Here is a video showing how a briddled tie is placed, you can see it takes a few tries. I hope every one of hers were this difficult for her.

IIRC Goose Girl had a Facebook dedicated to her farm/ goose. I went back through the thread to find it though but Paige's Facebook is gone. I never saved anything from it because she's not a munchie.

Goose Girl is @gabpig_ on Insta and Gaby Bailey on facebook, but she's boring as all hell. She rarely talks about anything but her pets/animals she works with and when she does bring up her health it's vague, "my body is falling apart"-type posts, with rare cryface selfies. Pretty much the only time she mentions her health is when she posts a photo with Paige and has to remind the world that she's sick too.

IIRC Goose Girl had a Facebook dedicated to her farm/ goose. I went back through the thread to find it though but Paige's Facebook is gone. I never saved anything from it because she's not a munchie.

Paige has a Facebook, she just doesn't post publicly if she still uses it at all, and it's just reposts from her instagram. She had an earlier 'gram under @princess_paigeds but it's been deleted as has her alt account which had the photos of her in culinary school.

What a ride :story: Do we know how old she is? Maybe 23-24?

And what kind of hospital lets you go out constantly on day trips? The whole hospital thing seems really weird to me, aren't long hospital stays of over a year exactly what hospital don't want at all?
Turned 21 in July. She stayed in the hospital because she kept herself in a constant near-crisis state by sabotaging every treatment attempted on her. The longer she stayed there the sicker she was able to make herself. Ex: they gave her a PICC to treat an infection, she used it to give herself sepsis. They put her on fall risk restrictions, she used it to totally atrophy her legs to the point where she probably can't walk or stand anymore. She put them in the position where keeping her there let her keep manufacturing new crises, but sending her home was a sure death sentence.

edit to add: Here's some photos of her from her final year at high school

The fact that they had to cast her arms so she couldn't pull out her tubes is hilarious to me.

I was going to ask if that's why the casts! It's like those little arm things they put on babies so they don't pull their tubes and wires. Mine had a sleep study and they had to put her in these arm restraints so she didn't pull off everything. I'm cackling. I have NEVER seen them do that for an adult that wasn't batshit crazy out of their mind.

This picture is horrifying. Is that a diaper? Underwear? How can a human arse be shaped like that??

That’s the walk she apparently can’t remember going on, right? Ah, she’s such a funny one. Not sure what’s going on with the pants though. Maybe she’s just got the worlds flattest ass? What a sad bum.

Paige is Jacq and Kelly’s horrorcow love-child.

I think Paige might be the next to pull a Jaq unless Kelly gets lucky with an infection or another one of our munchie princesses fades rapidly after a particularly rough bout with sepsis. I doubt it though since Kelly’s body really does not want to die.

Nah Kelly is like a cockroach, she'll outlive us all

Jesus fucking Christ, Paige immediately shot to the top of my next to die list. There's no way the medical staff aren't done with her shit. It's pretty shocking that they couldn't put her in restraints or something because she's blatantly sabotaging every attempt to get her better. This feels like textbook Munchausens

October 7: sepsis, urinary infection, kidney infection, lung infection, pneumonia, influenza.

February 18: day 200 in the hospital. Old photo but taken during this hospitalization. Oh look, she's standing. On her own. With no walker or wheelchair in the frame, and no one there to grab her if she starts to go down. Almost like she can use her legs or something.

Since then she has had "Over 20 IDCs placed, 10 PICC lines, countless IVs and subcuts, 100s of clexan injections, 21 NJ placements, intubations and more...Developing so, so many UTIs, bladder, kidney, chest, skin, throat infections, also pneumonias, meningitis, influenza B, loss of use of my legs, 10 bouts of sepsis and the chronic illnesses i already came in with." Sounds like a great way to spend your early 20s. Posts a photo from when she was still spoopy

july 31: a retrospective view of all the times she broke her wrists as a teenager, saying these were clear signs of EDS. Also tries to blame the mystery casts from her early admission on EDS-related problems. Then because she is dying from acute lack of emergencies, decides to yank on her piss tube a bit until she totally fucked it up.

August 3: reflects on a year in the hospital and all the efforts to save her life that she shamelessly sabotaged over and over again

August 11: "my SPC is bleeding constantly still!!" Is on high doses of anticoagulants and won't stop fucking with it. Now it's infected with abx-resistent pathogens

August 17: incoming gastroparesis flare, not tolerating her feeds
View attachment 996841

August 19: my god. Please let this be like Kelly's legs, where it just keeps getting worse and she steadfastly refuses to die forever.
View attachment 996842

August 20: another abscess in her chest and also a UTI
View attachment 996843

August 23: there is something so perverse about that Mickey Mouse tubie pad on her infected piss tube
View attachment 996848

August 27: has ESBL and KB infections on her SPC site. I don't know what those are but I'm gonna guess "bad". She's also not tolerating her feeds and running a high fever and developing a respiratory infection. So naturalyl they let her go home for 48 hours because what could possibly go wrong?

September 3: "nicked an artery" with her subq line holy shit
View attachment 996855

September 8: So they let her go home again because she clearly does not need to be kept in a locked ward under supervision. And while she was away, her artery site got infected.
View attachment 996856

September 9: and her SPC looked like this when she got back
View attachment 996857

September 10: giant abscess where her artery was "nicked" and now her blood sugar is crashing and she had to go to resus last night
View attachment 996858

September 12: and now she has abscesses on both sides of her chest.
View attachment 996859

Sepember 18: now that her entire body is colonized by antibiotic resistant "superbugs" she's discharged to a new facility for "quality of life" care and pain management. In other words, they've given up trying to save someone who wants to die.

September 22: free from constant medical supervision she JESUS FUCKING CHRIST ON A DICK
View attachment 996865

September 26: day 3 at the new place, goes to a clinic and has piss and pus extracted from her body, she now says there is a patch of black necrotic flesh surrounded by blisters on her chest.
View attachment 996868

September 27: back in the hospital.
View attachment 996872

October 1: pus-pockets on her chest drained, cleaned, and packed with gauze.
View attachment 996875

October 3: pus pockets now constantly bleeding
View attachment 996877

October 9: she's bffs with the staff at her new place and now can eat pizza and whatever that second photo is. I'm sure the fact that she's high as hell on painkillers has nothing to do with it.
View attachment 996880View attachment 996881

October 12: despite all these infections, she's only on painkillers and no antibiotics, because her gross infections laugh in the face of even the strongest antibiotics.
View attachment 996883

October 18: hope they're not chlorine resistant. I'm sure it's totally a good idea for her to be swimming in a public pool right now.
View attachment 996885

October 19: has the flu and a temperature of 40º C (104º in Freedom Units)
View attachment 996890

October 24: "puked up" her NJ again. Definitely going to die from malnutrition now.
View attachment 996891

October 29: SPC gone, indwelling catheter in after she "accidentally" fell and ripped her SPC out. Again. Old pic. She doesn't have a new NJ yet
View attachment 996893

October 31: happy halloween! the pink thing is covering up flesh-eating bacteria. Spooooooky!

Wow, what a ride.
Thank you for this. She's been my favorite since discovering the iconic sad walrus photo a couple months ago. Once she was transferred to the other facility, she leaped to the top of my kick-the-bucket list. Whenever anyone asks about her arm casts, the only explanation she provides is that they're for "infections." There's no clarification or anything, so it's fair to say that she's fucking with her shit and they've been on to her for a while. My best guess is that she was in some sort of longterm inpatient ED center, or she was at some point. You'd think they'd lock her down, but I have no idea what that whole world is like -- especially outside Freedomland.

I wish we got more insight from her family. It seems like she has some friends that orbit her pretty closely, but she doesn't say much about family involvement (aside from the occasional home fieldtrip).
