If they are supposedly done with dating/marrying women, why do they even still care about 'the sexual marketplace' and whether or not women are interested in them? If they are 'going your own way' then none of that shit should matter any more.

I find MGTOWs an interesting group. On one hand, I can see where they are coming from on a decent amount of points. I have seen fathers unjustly ruined in divorce courts, women smacking the fuck out of men and no one bats an eye, guys getting #MeTooed with nothing to base anything on besides some really sketchy accusations, boys getting their troubles about body image issues ignored, stuff like that. You want to bring that stuff up? Fine, we can discuss all that like rational adults and see where that leads. But then they just get dumb.

Got it. It’s kind of hard to get pissed about it because I’ve seen men with legit eating disorders and issues and the like get ignored or told to ‘just deal with it’ when all they needed was help with it.
My uncle had a big issue with something like bulimia, but where he didn’t puke, he just obsessively worked out. Like, had a burger for lunch, ran 15 miles. Had brown sugar in his oatmeal, lifted weights for an extra hour. It was really bad.
He used to be a fat, and spent a summer exercising and counting calories until he was above average health, and just kept up with that mindset until it went to far. He found a good wife, got his shit worked out, and now he’s normal and healthy. But he was on his own with it for a very long time in part because of that ‘man up’ mentality boys are raised with.

I'm surprised none of these guys get snipped or even as least try to wear a condom. 50% of the baby equation does lie with the man, and if he really is adamant about not supporting a child, he needs to start making the adult choice to control his own fertility, and not depend on or expect the woman to be the one solely responsible for birth control.
And worse case scenario, if there is any doubt or he doesn't feel like a condom, he just doesn't get to have sex that night.

There's a solution to the "20/80" rule, but they don't want to hear it: arranged marriage.
If the sexual market place was ever "stable" or "fair," it was because it was heavily regulated. In most societies, you were married because of an arrangement between the groom and bride's families, often to cement business or social ties. Rarely did either party have a say in the matter. Doesn't matter if you find each other attractive or desirable or not. There was no way you'd be guaranteed a 7/10 or not. In practice, it did work, at least in maintaining some level of social stability. Even today, arranged marriages are statistically more likely to last.
But that would be assuming that MGTOW were actually looking for stability or a guaranteed outlet for sexual release. As referenced time and time again in this thread, the only "women" in existence are the shallow High School/Instagram/Twitch THOTs. If they've had shit experience with women, it's probably in part due to their preference for shitty women. They would never look at anyone below a 7, even if that woman would give them love, attention, and stability. That's why you can't take these MGTOW seriously.

I think MGTOW would of been a decent self-improvement community and dealing with society's unhealthy glorification of women (instead of just, you know letting people be people and not create some cult for more $$$) along with struggling with relationships etc. I'm sure it started out like that too, but along the way it turned into bitter aspies who deflect any criticism of their gay behavior to 'ur a feminist'. Now I personally don't like women or avoid them the best I can myself, also I have a bit of trouble listening to things that make me tardrage, but I can't stand listening to MGTOW vids because the guys are cringe. Even though I agree with them 90% of the time, the delivery of the line is shit.

I have a suspicion that a decent amount of MGTOWs start out looking for advice and self improvement. And, as far as these things go, the basic advice and ideas aren’t terrible on their face.
It’s good to be able to be happy on your own, self reliance is a good thing. Placing too much value in sex and being in relationships for the sake of being in one isn’t particularly healthy. Be careful who you do end up being with, there are crazy people out there after all.
But then they take it to far and we get this thread. What can you do, that’s just how things go.

At one time there was a small amount of hysteria on the MRA blogs 8+ years ago where they believed all the feminazis working in the legal professions, esp. at the federal level, would pass more legislation to stop the flow of ex-pat MGTOWs from leaving the U.S., I shit you not. Half the guys on the forums who were ex-pat lamented about new draconian restrictions for a free man that wanted a submissive third world wife to bring back to the U.S. to be nearly impossible to achieve and that the feminazis would bring it around all very soon around the block. Something like Janet Reno cracking down on mail order brides imported.
