The Democratic majority in the 2nd Circuit is about to flip to GOP+1, and Mitch is pushing even more judges into the 9th Circuit. With all of the vacancies that Trump has been appointing and Mitch has been tirelessly pushing through the Senate, I wonder how Obama feels about leaving all of those seats empty.

By all accounts, Warren is the all purpose "plan b" for the Democrats.

If Biden doesn't self-destruct, Warren will most likely be offered the VP slot to appease the progressive wing of the party and prevent a second Bernie Bro revolt.

If Biden self-destructs, then Warren will get the nomination. It's been said SOME of the money men, the corporate elites who fund the Democrats, have made a decision to support Warren. Their logic, is that between Warren and Bernie in a "chose or die" ultimatium moment, Warren is the lesser evil since there is the idea that she can be brought to kneel when push comes to shove.

If that is indeed their plan, they are even stupider than I get them credit for. Biden/Warren is not a ticket that goes well together, especially if they start to fire shots at each other more frequently. The shots lately have been personal, not ideological.

And it's the best of both worlds for Trump: He gets to run against the weaknesses of Biden and the weaknesses of Warren.

From my time hanging around the online Australian political sphere, one concept that came up a lot was that there is a point where the electorate stops listening. I think voters in the U.S. have already reached that point and with the election still 1 year away... Whoo boy. Gonna be a long year for the Democrats.
