Repeating the punchline in the bottom text murders the punchline, but the punchline was so obvious after that long, rambling top text that it'd be pretty hard to make it funny anyway. Shitty comparison:

Why are you crying? Seriously, it's just a joke, there's no reason to cry.

The punchline is meant to be PUNCHY, not repeated until the light laughter in the room dies out.

Edit: IMO, a better caption would be something like "I'm not always a bigot - but when I am I get elected president".

I have a theory that /pol/ is filled with self-hating Spics and Nigs who shitpost about the Jews and about themselves because deep down they feel that they encompass all the stereotypes they believe to be reality.

I really think it comes down to the fact that /pol/ is mostly shitposting and half the people there barely or don't even believe in what they're posting. /b/ was the same way.

I think it's "irony poisoning": A good part of it is people just taking the piss, but there's a hard core of utterly sad human beings who are genuinely on the altism spectrum.

This is by Something Awful's very own Terry "Deep Hurting" Nowicki. Had no idea he was still around, but I guess he is. It's a shame, some of his stuff was actually clever at one point.
