Not really sure what the appeal is there for him. I think it's just more 80s and 90s nostalgia. It's likely he grew up with X-men, Spiderman, Justice League, and other super hero cartoons, along with super hero movies like Blade, Superman, and Batman. And of course, comic books of the various heroes.

That would also explain why, despite his love of MCU and DCU, he seems to have zero interest in the Netflix shows. He hates The Punisher, Spawn, and other gritty 90s heroes. Chances are that DareDevil, Luke Cage, and the rest were never part of his childhood so he doesn't give a shit.

The only difference between Devin Faraci and Bob Chipman is that Devin got caught. Look at them, both harass women who don’t give them what they want or agree with them.
