Uncle Fester has no extreme, he is a constant. His personality is a genuine plateau because he is written to be very sincere in his eccentricities. But he is to act as the sidekick to both kids and as a catalyst to many of their antics. They're the trinity that makes up the core of the humor. The other family members tend to be supporting characters in most of the stories.

Gomez and Morticia are shocked by this, so Morticia has a mother-daughter chat with her.

Morticia decides to bequeath the grimoire early to Wednesday.

Wednesday uses it to summon eldritch entities to terrify Pugsley.

It's not even close to being as funny as the films in 91 and 93, It's yet another rehash of the tired "Kid in odd family shocks them with normalcy" trope, which was already done (and executed better) with the baby that Gomez and Morticia had in the movies. Chelsea is incapable of having an original idea.

I hate to say this... But I don't hate the summary of the story.
But I'm also not an Addams Family expert so it's hard to tell what's derivative or whatever.
