Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

No, he obviously won because of voter suppression, misinformation on facebook, racism and sexism among the thankfully vanishing fragile rural white voter, and of course Hackerman. Reheated 2016 excuses.

Because god forbid someone conclude that tribalism and identity politics results in a fractured democrat party that couldn't please all of its disperate parts.

Don't forget some Democrats supporters who became famous by being turned into internet memes like Trigglypuff, Big Red and Aids Skrillex. Thanks to Aids Skrillex, we saw their real faces.

Some more TDS on display over poll numbers. I love the response by Anton!

When historians look back on the 2020 election, they're going to say "The reason why Donald Trump won was because the Democratic Party couldn't run someone who was unlikable enough."

You can say the same thing about the past presidential election, i tought american politicians had the dosh to at least hire people that tell them not to repeat the same mistake, but here we are with the best options being a commie and a kiddie lover

What did he mean by this

The vote was close, as in less than a percentage point close, so the Republican demanded a recount as allowed by law. As far as I'm aware, that's it, that's the great threat to democracy Bernie is outraged about... requesting a legal recount in an extremely close race.

Bernie's whole platform is a threat to democracy. I have no idea idea why he's still in office.

There is no way on God's green Earth that you're getting me to listen to 13 1/2 hours filled with nothing but the opinions of journalists who got every single facet of this story completely fucking wrong for the last three years. It doesn't matter "now more than ever" because it never fucking mattered in the first place.

The comic and the podcast are clearly both attempts to rewrite the history of this bungled investigation, mainly along people who didn't follow the news at the time and can't really read. Sadly, that may be a lot of people. Less sadly, both things will probably be too boring to speak to a large audience, and they'll mostly be preaching to the choir.

TFW you go so hard on Twitter, God Emperor himself tells you, 'Son, this is too much.'
Trump's message to his son was somewhat undercut by the uncontrolled snorts of laughter his father was struggling to hold back at the time.

Hah!
One notable and little-reported conclusion emerging from the House Democratic impeachment proceedings is a consensus among some foreign policy professionals that President Trump's Ukraine policy has been an improvement over President Barack Obama's.

That Hillary comic brings up another question.

Why does the left always deify their political leaders? They are the ones that put their figures on god-tier like pedestals: The Kennedys, The Clintons, The Obamas, Bernie, and I guess we can kind of put The Squad on that list now.

The only one on the right that I can think of that has a comparable level of devotion is Reagan, which honestly creeps me out as well. Other than that though, a lot of Republican supporters look at their guy as the best one for the job at that time, and that's about it. Even Trump is largely seen by his own side as the guy that pisses off the right people.

I guess that's a major difference in how the two sides see things. The Left generally seems to legitimately be looking for a superhero, someone who will descend from the heavens and pull them out of whatever trouble they are in and statues will be built in their honor, while the Right generally seems to look at it in terms of a job interview. Who is the best candidate and why?
P.J. O’Rourke once said that the desire to adore a head of state was a “grim transgression against Republicanism.”
