Ya know, the one a bunch of wall street sharks and hedge fund managers had put up to signal how virtuous they were while they raised the costs of medicine and destroyed peoples livelihoods for an extra fat paycheck.

That Hillary comic brings up another question.

Why does the left always deify their political leaders? They are the ones that put their figures on god-tier like pedestals: The Kennedys, The Clintons, The Obamas, Bernie, and I guess we can kind of put The Squad on that list now.

The only one on the right that I can think of that has a comparable level of devotion is Reagan, which honestly creeps me out as well. Other than that though, a lot of Republican supporters look at their guy as the best one for the job at that time, and that's about it. Even Trump is largely seen by his own side as the guy that pisses off the right people.

I guess that's a major difference in how the two sides see things. The Left generally seems to legitimately be looking for a superhero, someone who will descend from the heavens and pull them out of whatever trouble they are in and statues will be built in their honor, while the Right generally seems to look at it in terms of a job interview. Who is the best candidate and why?

Its just interesting. I find it funny though that the psychos on the Left love to call everyone that don't agree with them fascists, yet they are the ones that seem fine and cool with handing all power and authority to their own personally chosen demi-god.

I don’t know cause there are a good amount of Trump supporters who also deify Trump as some sort of God, while some of that is satire there are genuinely Trump supporters who act like Trump is this perfect president who can do no wrong and God chose him.

But really it’s just creepy in general for people to treat presidents and politicians as some sort of god or messiah when they aren’t.

Because of the following chain of events
1) Democrats hold more influence over partisan media than republicans
2) Partisan Media people are obsessed with "narrative" and black/white moralising on partisan issues
3) Thus every media bigwig will be sending strongly worded advice to subordinates to make coverage of the preferred democrat candidate absolutely sparkling and perfect
4) This is interpreted by a thousand different media goons with varying degrees of mental retardation in progressively sillier and more overblown ways
5) The pop media friends/associates/asskissers of said media goons continue this escalating whitewashing coverage, but with even less tact and zero pretension of nuance.
6) This bounces back and forth between media people and all manner of hangers on from social media figures to "activists" until the narrative has become an absolutely farcical "good and perfect and saintly and gracious and divine and noble and beautiful Hillay vs EVIL NAZI SUBHUMAN DEPLORABLE BIGOT RAPIST TRAITOR DRRRRRRRUMPF!!!"

While there is plenty Trump worship and support around right wing circles, save for the usual fringe of crackpots anything beyond "we like him and his policies and he pisses off the right people" is invariably tongue in cheek and built on self admitted absurdity, as opposed to the tearful religious ecstasy democrat figureheads are treated with in media and activist land.

Why does the left always deify their political leaders?

Because government is their religion. It's really that simple. And I know it sounds like just a bit of wit tossed off about how they're "big government", but it really is their religion. Their reactions to people suggesting removing government agencies are more akin to what you'd get from the suggestion of burning down a church or desecrating bibles than opposition on any simple idea of merit. It goes on and on like that, and ultimately explains why they hate libertarians and minarchists more than they hate Republicans... Republicans are sort of the disgraced but that they know on some level can usually be counted on to do God's work by expanding government power and spending lots of tax money. Libertarians and minarchists are effectively an attack on God, not just heathens but effectively devil worshipers.

It's probably more accurate to say that Government is God to them, and their political leaders are saints... not gods, per se, but those who have been deemed holy by virtue of wanting to expand and empower the One True God while having the Holy Letter by their names.

You answered your own question. The reason that they deify them is because they have to in order to justify giving them the sort of unlimited power that they want them to have. It's very difficult to rationalize an everyday, flawed human being having a virtually-limitless ability to control even rudimentary aspects of your life and your rights, but if you think that person is some all-encompassing hero who can do no wrong and would never abuse their power or authority for their own benefit?

Well, that's much easier to accept. They make an enormous mistake in assuming that when their competitor assumes power, he won't use all of the benefits that were afforded to his predecessor against them. Everyone in America should count themselves extraordinarily lucky when it came to Trump not only being disinterested in continuing Bush/Obama-era policies and the micro-managing of the military, but that he seems to have been actively working to scale down the amount of power that the Executive Office can even wield.

He could have very easily assumed office and continued to ramp up the domestic spying or upscale the intervention in foreign countries or continued the use of the IRS to punish his political opponents or the judiciary to penalize journalists for publishing legitimate whistle-blower information, but he chose not to. America got really, really fucking lucky.

I dont think there will ever be justice for the shit Bill and Hillary have done
Amy Robach explicitly names Bill Clinton in her hot mic footage put forth by Project Veritas. I expect there to be followup. Unearth the serpents.

In other news, this is legit hilarious:

Not sure if this is how you go viral.

It's a shame because he spent over 5k to get his Twitter back and everything he says is a lie on top of pages of shady behavior like defending pedos.

Problem is he just aint that attention grabbing when competing with the likes of Wu, Yaniv, Movieblob etc.

If this was back in 2013 or even 2014 then he might have had an opening to become a long running thread but alas, he has been overshadowd in every cringy narcissist autist ranking by multiple other specimens

This is what happens when the retard market is as oversaturated as it is now.

This fucking comic still baffles me. What were they even going for? Why is her logo coming out of the ground?

"Away from Bernie" you mean the cuck who was going to throw the nomination for a new beach house? "The emails" where to begin with those? If it came out trump had done that shit they really would impeach him. I dont think there will ever be justice for the shit Bill and Hillary have done
I honestly can't tell if it supposed to be humorous ironically or humorous seriously.
