Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

I still want to know where actors like Xander Mobus, Erica Lindbeck, Max Mittleman, etc came from.

Like all of a sudden they just appeared in stuff and are raking up roles left and right (no I'm not bitter because they are younger than most of us) away from Bailey, Baker, Wittingham, etc.

I hope Lindbeck isn't going to be a thot like Cristina Vee.

A lot of actors including Cristina Vee came from YouTube and fan projects, as well as schmoozing at cons.

Robbie Daymond (who has been brought up before due to some bitch trying to #MeToo him) was a fan turned VA, but I think he's union since he's done Spiderman and Star Wars?

Kira Buckland who voices 2B was a fan recruit too. Youtube and fan projects.

looking at everything, only a jackboot igit would look at the source being booted and say "hurr durr, that totally isn't related to the vic lawsuit". I'd seriously question the mental health of an individual that did that.
Seriously? Are you joking?
Since when "it makes sense" is a argument in court. It has never been that way, it's innocent until proven guilty.
If you don't have evidence the source has been ostracized because of the lawsuit, the defendants will have the benefit of the doubt.
When Ty is going to ask "why", all the defendant will need to answer is "just because". That won't prove anything.

And then, there is the Chupp effect.

You're applying common sense to law matter, but law matter is not common sense.
The court is not KF. If it was, the lawsuit would already be over.

If the source were to be found, Funimation would simply fire the person, and give no reason for it, end of the story.
We would lost a source (providing actual evidences), and gain nothing valuable.

I have a feeling it could be related to this...

It would certainly paint a picture of possible "conflict of interest" as well as trash the 'civil-conspiracy' that totally did not exist. Not to mention them practically disowning monica, jamie and ron's actions could be called into question if they are footing the bill for ron and monica. Are they taking Marchi's bill too? etc.

If it's about how they got Lemoine involved, and it's indeed in the invoice that the clue is to be found, then here is the oldest billing entry for Lemoine:

And the striked part is one that was redacted in the document.

So could it be that they actually hire that specific lawyer in order to delay the process and increase the bill?
Everything that is redacted is basically "how to waste time", even the "potential defenses to raise" if you think about it.
Are those dumb games actually Lemoine's speciality?

Lemwah works in the same firm as Ethan Mingehull.
Ethan Minshull is Andrea Perez boyfriend.
Andrea Perez works for Casey who suddenly found himself in that position of having to serve 2 masters.

To make this "worse" is, in Lemwah's filings and Perez filings, there are no real 'sorting' like in Casey's overview.
What it does say however is:

Page 158 in the "Defendants Rial & Toye's Motion for Sanctions and Fees"

Here you will see Kessler Collins, P.C.; Monica Rial ; and Ronald Toye listed as 'clients'.
I am not sure who P.C. is? Since Kessler and Collins are Casey's firm. And Andrea is in Carrington and Coleman?
P.C.= PINKER COX most likely. Which is Volney and team Funi!!
P.C. is part of the Kessler Collins name.

So if the Funimation coin is running into Casey and he is paying that bill for them, since he too is a client. Then that's....shady shit.
That being said, I don't know if this is common to list a lawfirm you are working with on a case as a client or whatevs. But it does call into question if this is actually a co-op and should Casey and Andrea be partaking actively when they are 'clients'?.

Why are Kessler & Collins, Rial and Toye his clients? is this normal? is tinfoil taking over my brain?

Well, he did talk about helping Vic at the start of all this. But then quickly backpedaled after he got shit thrown his way and after he probably started to think that siding with Vic in any shape or form would cause him to lose work and have other VAs and creators not want to show up to his shit hole of a con. Even though every con that's invited Vic so far has been profitable.

Give it a rest already, BT. No one cares about you.

Why is Monica's dumb mod always fluctuating to being worthy of a thread to just being random bg noise like other randos.

That said, has anyone doxxed Manjaw's right-hand orbiter Sailor Mars Says? By now someone would've found something based on how hard she virtue signals.

He said it himself. It was all because some people decided they didn't like Vic.

Sounds like the firms may be double dipping and charging both for their own work and the work of other firms, while those firms are themselves claiming the same hours.

If it were common to have other defense counsel listed as client, wouldn't Sam Johnson also be on that list?
