I never really believed the "chat logs" as so many places (here, 4chan and others) said its fake. But if one is on the internet long enough you tend to regard most e drama as fake anyways.

As for lurker my guess is some newfag in 4chan looking to try to start some stupid autistic slap fight of 4chan vs kiwifarms lol

Well it worked out for the better. Lol do you think if we gossip more we’ll get more special guest appearances?

I've never even seen the chat logs. The link to them stopped working, so I was always curious to what could be so damning about them. I've just heard that Vinny """allegedly""" asked for nudes of a girl and """allegedly""" called himself a "tithound." I mean, I know they're fake, but I just want to see how fake they are.

I linked the Pastebin earlier in the thread. You can read it here: https://archive.li/Mp1gB

The bin is the right amount of surreal and absurd to be believable, which is why I fell for it - and also because, in all honesty, the way they portray Vinny is ridiculously funny. Some highlights:

There's even an out of date encyclopedia dramatica on Vinesauce, still lists GeePM as part of the team

Yeah, that's funny. I don't know if Vinny would actually say something like that, but he did give us the "big black titties" clip so I can see how some people could believe it. Thanks for the link! I might do something with it.

That was a surprisingly pleasant exchange. I have to admit I was expecting a troll account or someone unrelated to impersonate someone and stir the pot, but no. We actually have a solid conclusion and closure on faked drama. That's pretty cool, all things considered. I hope this puts it to rest for good. With any luck it helps both Sgtfgt and Vinny to put it even further behind them than before.

Back on topic, has anyone found Vinny's early corruptions? in particular Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. Like it was recorded on a different stream site and uploaded by some random person

I'm assuming these aren't the ones you mean, but he did corrupt both of those games in this stream.

Yeah, they are really old, as in before he moved to Twitch.

This video has a couple of clips from it (they got it from the original uploaders video that vanished)

if it wont go to the timestamp go to 5:29 and then go to 5:35

Does anyone else still feel like the real time corrupter he uses doesn't compare to the days of the manual Vinesauce corrupter? Even though there was more crashing, all the best and most unique corruptions came from then, compared to RTC where it's mostly the same graphical glitches combined with around 3 of the same occasional effects (solid things become unsolid, some score/value gets increased, or godmode happens). The user submitted corruptions are still great (just look at all the great Luigi's Mansion ones), but I yearn for those days where it felt like we were discovering new corruptions and literally anything was possible.

In a way I agree yet disagree at the same time. The early days were great for that sense of discovery and it blew the manual blasts out of the water, but taking off the nostalgia goggles shows they were a lot more hit and miss than we remember. We all know the classic moments from clip compilations, but the reality was a lot of the streams were just seeing the same types of corruptions over and over again combined with crash after crash and it could get boring surprisingly quickly. Combine that with Vinny not really having the time to make quality corruptions these days with him starting new games on a weekly basis.

It feels like a good middle ground to just do fan corruptions instead imo. That way we get to the good stuff right away and it saves both Vinny and the audience a lot of downtime that tends to happen with technical issues (which I swear he's been having more of lately, dude needs to get a new PC already or something).

I definitely agree that Vinny's manual corruptions tend to be funnier because of how off the fucking wall they are, but you also have to remember that finding those corruptions was an arduous task most of the time, and those corruption streams were actually quite boring in the interim. I know the newer corruptions do feel somewhat mass-marketed, but it's also true that they always deliver on the weird shit - I'm happy to take that over 20 minutes of dead air while Vinny tries to make another good corruption.

I remember those clips! I'm pretty sure the VODs no longer exist, though, if they're pre-Twitch and no one else has uploaded them. Try checking Vinesauce Obscurities - I haven't given all the videos a good look through, but they have some really old Vinesauce streams archived here, so it's possible the video you're looking for is in here. If not, maybe it'll come up in the related videos. Give it a shot!

@Logic Sorry for the confusion going on on my profile, I've been lurking this thread and finally created an account to ask you about the Mike thing but it seems new accounts can't DM straight away. I was going back and forth between your profile, the thread, and my own trying to piece it together (guess I'm fucking retarded) but then I got that message. Couldn't respond to it or anything.

But I do understand if you don't want to send the details to some rando newbie account.

Ah! so that's what's been going on, figures all this weirdness was something I brought upon myself. Yeah i'm sorry to put you through that but I'd rather share the info with someone who's participated in the thread more. Just contribute a bit and I'll tell you on a later date.

@Logic i did the same thing lol ive been lurking this thread for a while but that pushed me to make an account, was also confused about how to get in contact with you.

"Undeniable moron," huh? You encroaching on my territory?

Really though, this is a good thread to unlurk for. I personally made an account specifically to comment on the ProJared scandal, but I ended up searching for a Vinesauce thread soon after and staying for it. I recommend giving the entire thread a good read if you haven't already, cause there's some pretty interesting stuff we uncovered, with a recent guest appearance from a Vinesauce community legend herself!

Unrelated to that, but are there any games you guys are anticipating and praying for the streamers to play (if they haven't already)? I'm personally looking forward to Vinny playing the new Animal Crossing more than anything - I know he likes the games, so it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to the new one and what changes he notes, because he's pretty astute when it comes to comparisons and such. (Flexing that English degree, as always.)

Well I really should have been more clear that I would also not divulge the info to brand new accounts. I really didn’t think so many people without accounts would be so thirsty for info. Take some time to post and contribute to the thread and I’ll squeal (bonus points if you help financially support the site).

There's not that many exiting games coming out, honestly. I think it'd be neat if Vinny went back and played some Mario Galaxy or something else pre-WiiU.
It'd be cool if Joel would play more Morrowind, my buddy has funny rages at how annoyingly Joel plays it.
