You have a good point there. Blaire and Contra play the same game, but in different ways.
Nyk puts himself on a pedestal, rarely interacting with other YouTubers or fans, and most of his videos have him coming off as this elite scholar from high that deigned to talk to the dirty, common folk. As soon as a little criticism comes his way, he goes crying all over Twitter then screams about how I'M REALLY LEAVING TWITTER FOR GOOD THIS TIME I SWEAR YOU GUISE before coming back a month later.
Blair, on the other hand, humanizes herself a lot better and plays to her audience. She has regular meetups with fans, and collaborates with other YouTubers that share her audience like Jaclyn Glenn, Shane Dawson, and Arielle Scarcella. When Blair gets some heat, she faces it head on, like going on Crowder live to debate Candace Owens face to face, or addressing hate comments while doing her makeup. Blair also has a life outside YT, like her fiance Joey and meeting his family. Nyk wouldn't be half as dysfunctional if he made an attempt to reconcile with his family and meet people outside the breadtube bubble. I mean, how healthy can it be to have Lindsey Ellis and Hbomberguy as your only friends?

Nyk said that his parents support his transition: "What do they think about it [the transition]? They basically stan. They understand my vision at this point.". He also said: "When you're in The New Yorker, your parents are gonna be proud of you. Even if what you're doing seem like conventional wisdom says your child should be doing."
However looking at their Facebook accounts I can't see a single picture of them with Nyk, so I have to wonder why they won't publically associate themselves with him if they're supposedly support him so much. Nyk also said he would like to do a stream with his parents and that "they are both very interesting people.". This to me suggests that their relationship at the very least definitely cordial if not outright supportive.
Interesting, I wasn't aware of this Alice person at all. That's some sort of housing projects or a shelter of some sort. My guess would be projects. You'll see those floors and walls almost universal to any sort of govt assisted housing. Those floors are cheap and hard to damage. You'd have to go at it with a sledgehammer to bust it....with a lot of effort. Plus they're easy to clean and waterproof. You could roll in there and hose it down if you really wanted.
Also the steel door, pulldown handle, lock combo with the steel frame around it.

As of October 12, 2019, Contrapoints has 9,469 people who are giving her at minimum $1 a month on patreon.
If we assume all of these people are giving her $1, which they are not, she would be making $113,628 a year, over twice the average annual income in the US.
If they are on average giving her $2, her lowest patreon tier, which knowing how cultish political youtube fans are it's definitely higher, she'd be making $227,256 a year. Even given with our generous estimates she is over half way to being part of the 1%.
For her to receive $420,000 from her patreon neckbeards, she'd need them to give her an average of about $3.70 a month each. Now, I have no way to prove she is making more than this, but knowing her fanbase and how political youtube fans treat their greatest circlejerk smartass like messiahs, I'd assume she is making well above this treshold.
The only way to know for sure would be if she changed her patreon settings to display how much money she's receiving, but then her far left fanbase would leave her even more since they'd realize she's one of the rich.

I think this was partially done before but here's an update using the latest video and today's patreon numbers:
9,480 patreons
$20 tier = (15 per page x 30 pages) + 10 on last page = 460 patreons
$10 tier = (25 per page x 59 pages) + 13 on last page = 1,488 patreons
$2 or $5 tier = 9,480 - (1,488 + 460) = 7,532 patreons
460 x $20 = $9,200
1,488 x $10 = $14,880
7,532 x $2 = $15,064
TOTAL
$39,144 per month minimum
$469,728 per year minimum
This is assuming that no one donates $1 (minimum possible on patreon) and ignores patreon fees.
To think that patreons are paying an extra $10 per month just to have their name shown 30 seconds earlier in the credits and in a slightly bigger font size.

Patreon says the average amount per patreon is $12 which would be $113,760 per month and a staggering $1,365,120 per year.

So, Nyk is in a bad place. "Duh, so what's new? He still has his Youtube millions." you will say, but something happened that prompted me to write this. As you know I have seen a lot of Nyk's Livestreams, I've seen BlogTV streams, Pokemon Gamestreams, Drawful gamestreams, ASMR streams, debate/interview streams, all the stuff that got nuked when Nyk announced his trans-LARP back in August of 2017. Nyk would drink and sometimes smoke/vape during streams but here's the thing: I haven't seen Nyk do drugs on a Livestream before his audience since his BlogTV days. (Someone correct me if he has done drugs on a Livestream since 2016, but I have personally never seen him do that.)
Nyk apparently did a Livestream a day ago where he was urged to do poppers by his audience and indeed proceeded to do drugs live on air. Before his audience. While they were urging him to cry. While being visibly depressed and admitting he couldn't get back on schedule.
This means that Nyk is in a really bad place to do something that. Also, the fact that he's doing two emotionally charged Livestreams the one so shortly after the other, this means that he's in a bad place emotionally.
Now, needless to say I no longer give a shit about his emotional state (LMAO yeah sure), I couldn't care less if Nyk ODed on a Livestream like Lil Peep (LMAO yeah whatevah), but I just wanted to point this out for the rest of y'all following this thread. If Nyk is doing drugs on a Livestream before his audience, that's not regular drunken Nyk.
I already saw the signs when I was scrolling through the previous stream. I didn't post about it because I didn't want to admit before y'all that I watched it, but I did. I can tell from Nyk's body language and his voice when he's in a bad place. The FFS may have paralyzed his facial nerves and given him an emotionless mask to wear permanently but the rest of his body reveals his true feelings.

I watched the last 40 minutes of the stream, saw the notification when I woke up. She was a bit tipsy I think, the chat kept asking her to cry live for some reason, she said she would but in the end she didn’t (thank God).
