Lauren had a live today where she whined about being “bullied” and how mean we are :/ she said she did not pay for her diagnoses even though she is paying $400 out of pocket per hour per visit for her PCP and only visiting doctors that she recommends. she 1000% needs a feeding tube because she cannot get nutrition any other way. her mom even wanted to move the date up for the surgery because she’s “so sick” which makes me wonder how much her mom really is involved with all of this?? Like is this a case of MBP with her mom pushing stuff on her? I wouldn’t go as far as saying full on MBP because Lauren does many things on her own. Idk just some random thoughts. She also started defending SOS at the end and how she’s such a good mom trying her best.

If she’s so exceptionally sick and 1000000% malnourished, where is her nose hose? Most people who are genuinely malnourished to a dangerous point will get a nose hose whacked in and even be monitored inpatient for refeeding syndrome, which is a thing actual malnourished people get once they receive nourishment again. Most common reason I hear from munchies for not having one for long or even completely forgoing it is “sensory issues” but apparently your heart giving out from low potassium is a less scary thought than a tube in your face while they await surgery to get a grotty hole through abdomen or bowel.

Ah, the transparency. They’re making it too easy to pull their little “but I definitely need it” anecdotes apart. It’s always anecdotal when they’re trying to prove something, lol, as if we’d just take their word for it. Oh well, we’re just mean. Hope she enjoys her stoma and formula bloat that they all label as an intolerance.

Her doctor said it’s long term so there’s no reason to trial an NJ. when asked about not tolerating feeds, she said she “doesn’t want to think about that.” She also has no idea if her surgery is inpatient or outpatient. This is the same girl who cried for over a WEEK when she had her port surgery saying she needed stronger pain meds so she’s in for a rude awakening.

The only difference in those photos is that her waistband is higher and covering up her lower belly. Her arms actually look slimmer in the before photo.

Her doctor is fucking terrible if they don’t understand the need to trial formula, that sounds like a whole bunch of medical negligence right there. Yep, let’s just cut a hole into a healthy girls stomach and see what happens! And christ, nearly everyone gets a good deal of pain, sinus infections and bloody noses with nose hoses...she’s a fucking special snowflake and a half alright. At least Kate Farms will be there for her!

Jesus, if she cries for over a week and needs pain meds for a port then she will indeed be in for a rough ride with the stoma creation surgery. And I’m guessing she’s paying out of her ass to see such an expensive PCP because one that takes her insurance just doesn’t understand or believe her suffering? Aww. Too bad for her that a PCP can’t diagnose either POTS or EDS. This one seems extra precious.

She twice posted about "taste and drain," which is a process that's exactly like it sounds. You eat or drink something and immediately drain it out through a tube, which she has. National Eating Disorders.org defines "chewing and spitting disorder (CHSP)" as a "real eating disorder... that has been been associated with food restriction, excessive exercise, increased use of diet pills and laxatives and other mental health issues such as depression and body dissatisfaction" (Makhzoumi et al 2015). CHSP was found in "up to 34% of individuals suffering from disordered eating" (Guarda et al 2004).



I'm not sure why one would taste and drain tea since it has few to no calories, but I don't live her life.



Her fiance had to go to the hospital, where she wore her VogMask and took a selfie. Cellulitis, a bacterial infection of the skin, is painful and potentially life-threatening in the short-term. He doesn't look into it.



I've also found her ongoing GoFundM3 to buy a powerchair. Questions: What PT recommends a powerchair? What insurance does not cover a chair because it folds?
