On the plus side Brows Held High is a really good show and the guy who hosts it, Kyle, is a really sweet, smart guy so at least Connor's cribbing his opinions from someone who actually knows his shit.
For context, Connor mentioned the movie thing a couple of times in chat, and iirc he just happened to mention at least one film that I knew, liked, and had an opinion on. As soon as he realized someone else had actually seen this supposedly obscure film, he wasn't interested in talking about it anymore.

I remember this in chat. My impression is that with his autism he can't really figure out that someone saying "I liked that movie too" is a social cue for entering a two-party discussion about the movie.
I don't think I'll ever forget when he would sit in chat for hours talking about his literary projects with absolutely no response. Not in any detail. Not with any intriguing revelations. Just a guy talking in a bland way about bland things he is really surely someday soon gonna write. Wandering into chat when this was happening was like those movies where only one person can see and hear a ghost.

So there's a funny thing about Connor interacting with normals. Compare these two post totals:

Maybe Connor should just join a roleplaying forum. He doesn't have to worry about writing a book, he can get praise for his purple prose, and he can feel like he's accomplishing something. Kind of like posting daily updates about Connor's exploits
As an active roleplayer on a few other forums (mostly political or fantasy), I'd disagree. His writing quality would be pretty quickly criticized, at least in the RP communities I've been active in. The standards for creativity, originality and worldbuilding are rather high - he'd either be given constructive criticism (which he would reject out of hand) or ignored (RPing with someone who can't write well is one of the most hellish things you can do and is no fun at all).
Of course, I'm certain there's a roleplay forum somewhere on the Internet that's just as horrid as he is. I might be acting slightly neurotic or spergy about this since the standards at my forum are so high.

I've decided to continue writing my fan-fiction of Redesigning Eva. Why? Because "why not." I like Redesigning Eva, it makes me laugh. Plus I like to finish what I start, and I reckon that if Connor's sperged about his unwritten story for five years straight, I can post parts of mine that I've actually written over a much shorter span of time. In any case, I'll try to have another chapter up by to-morrow, or somewhere around to-morrow.

What can I even say about this, seriously? Is this how he was in Team Speak discussing Redesigning Eva? Also: Metal Gear Solid = grounded in realism
I've completely lost track of the times Connor has described Godzilla as either a sociopath or an antihero with human emotions and goals. I think we're up to 8 now. Of all the movies he can't comprehend, the Godzilla series is really part of that? They are nothing more than taking problems of the time period (nuclear proliferation, pollution, shipping tariffs, etc) and having 30 minutes of discussion and 50 minutes of monsters fighting. What other subtext is there?!
I just can't describe the confusion and revulsion I am feeling. Also, Connor is conveniently overlooking the multiple Godzilla comics that were made, though I doubt they would help in his quest for whack material.
Connor vaguely refers to his mother as an Education Mama, a trope about the stereotype of Asian families overworking their children for perfection. I highly, HIGHLY doubt his parents believe he has that kind of potential.
Fanfics are hard guize, when you're in school you just don't have much time to write them with all that energy spent not going to work, not paying for food and shelter and not supporting a retard son emotionally and financially.

Goddammit Connor, even I finished my fan fics back in school. Granted, they were pretty shitty and half assed, but it really wasn't that hard.
Also, why is he looking so deeply into Godzilla of all things? Besides the possible atomic bomb thing, I don't think the movies ever really delved deeper than GIANT MONSTERS DETROY EVERYTHING!!! RAAR! With Godzilla occasionally deciding to fuck off after his opponent dies. And they never needed to either.
