that's corporate espionage if I ever saw it jk, though really at this rate it needs a full engine rewrite before it gets fixed

hacked switch?
...Yeah on further inspection this is one case where I'll buy that argument. One instance after 3 days with only a standalone photo as evidence that can very easily be hacked or even just shopped? Not to mention shinies seem like fishing in a barrel with how fast people are getting them so this issue only popping up now screams suspect.

No it's real they legit forgot to make static encounters shiny locked, I thought it was hacked at first but my post above shows it's not bullshit

>people saying hacked switches are not the fault of nintendo
>if Nintendo didn't design the switches to be so easily hacked they would not have been hacked to this magnatude in the first place

When the PS4 was hacked, it never caused shit like this.

If they didn't make the road so damn appealing to play in, maybe I would stop losing kids!

PS4 has actual save editors working for it and it doesn't cause shit like this. Like You can do shit like item swap by changing hex values even for shit like Skyrim and it doesn't cause fuckups of this magnatude.
I remember a message hack could potentially brick your console, it's not like the PS4's coding was completely up to par. Switch has save hacks too, as far as I'm aware. Games causing fuckups with a hacked console is entirely on the person doing it, what's inexcusable is that this issue is happening on non-hacked Switches.

The message thing wasn't tied to any specific game software though. It was the OS entirely which did it. That was fixed by a patch, this is more or less based with Pokemon not playing nice with the switch's hardware and it being coded poorly. It's going to take way more than a patch to fix.

So IGN is really scrambling after being caught blatantly lying to readers about their 9.3 score. This is eye gougingly painful to read. There is no way, in any dimension, that Sword & Shield takes 40+ hours to complete the main story. There no way they didn't notice the huge list of graphical errors going on in the game. It seems they are doubling down on the models being new, then saying it doesn't matter anyway. This has to be the most pathetic article I've ever read, you'd think they'd at least shut up about they're fake reviews.

Comments on the SwSh episode of their podcast have been disabled because too many people were calling them out GASLIGHTING THEM.

That last part is not a joke, this dumb bitch actually thinks people having different opinions and game experiences than her is a form of psychological abuse.

At this point the nerd crew is much less an parody and more an under exaggeration of what these podcasts are like

I actually like Casie most episodes but the amount of hoops she has to crawl through to support taking away the Pokemon she's been using for the past ten years is amazingly ridiculous. Like I like the game, but its got obvious flaws that they don't mention. Even GameXplain was uncucked enough to have a guy on to say that it felt like you could beat the game by walking forward and pressing A repeatedly.

Maybe it's just my impression, but from the opinions of the "moderate ones" I've seen on social media a lot of the people buying this didn't play the 3ds games and jumped from black and white to these switch ones.
