I seriously had to look twice in that fourth panel cuz at first I actually didn't see that G was pointing to Lily and thought she just did it mentally. Could've easily been solved by using the obvious space in between them to turn her left arm to point at Lily. Would've even fitted G's smugness even more cuz it's such a casual gesture and not a "careful" gesture as it is now.

And why did G have to whisper to Lily? She could've easily turned her head towards Lily and Lily could've reacted to her talking in her head. Everyone knows that Gardevoirs are mentally linked to their trainers so it wouldn't be weird.

These scientists having a perfectly functional cloning machine, which can effectively recreate the process of human recreation, but the organization dedicated to governing relations between humans and pokemon are the ones outlawing the use of the machine on humans, which while also being a stupid and pointless way of painting the faceless evil organization we've not even seen do anyyhing in the comic as even more morally bad then they've already been presented also shows lily has no idea how government organizations work. Any game that demands more coordination from Lily than squeezing any button you get easy already makes the game horrible for her, completely shitting who has fun with this kind of gameplay as the wannabe hardcore gamers, being the Souls series one of the most acclaimed that inspired several similar games like Sekiro, Nioh, Bloodborne, becoming practically a genre why? Because people have fun with challenges.

it may be a stretch argument pulling into psychoanalysis but I believe Lily has a deep complex of struggling with an imaginary difference and abuse of "power":

parents have some authority over their children and Lily hates them for the alleged abuse
teachers have some authority over the students and Lily refused to do school activities
always being a contrarian of most popular opinions unless they meet very specific standards otherwise she gives a 180
Lily will always frame herself as the victim of Nazi Right-wing Supremacy in any discussion (political or not)

I even believe she is so against heterosexuality because she sees a relationship between a man and a woman abusive as a rule since the difference in power makes abuse inevitable

even her relationship with fans who criticize the Comic can be considered as hearing and making criticism-based changes would take the author's power over the work and the only way to regain control is to stop listening (even being aware of the lore and continuity would be seen as a limitation of being able to do what you want with the story without worrying about contradictions, just say it doesn't matter)
who would be a better match for her than a character she herself can write how to act?

It's a stretch again, but it's a behavior pattern that I find quite amusing to keep up with when she always tries to be on top but ends up looking like a child throwing a tantrum that no one is doing what she wants

But to embrace the Art-Fag in me, does it seem like Mikalea's comics are gradually getting...worse? Though if I had to put my money on it, it's due to time constraints and Lily demanding a new, colored comic every 1-2 days.

this would have been the perfect opportunity to have a funny little easter egg. like pull up a text to binary translator and write something like 'what, you expected an easter egg or something?', 'testing the gardeveoir' 'processing data' or just anything... just show that you care a little.


hell if this is a slice of life comic, show some humor in it like a 4th wall break or just when ther needle for the extraction of the dna (or whatever the fuck is happening there) have g, due to nature, make a psychic fost and punch the scientist with it then instantly regret it because 'sorry i dont know what got over me, my mind was on autopilot' or something that resembles humor at least.


If the art aint good, thats fine, mask it up[ with a bit of humor or an easter egg or something to try and have one bit of the comic be quality

I'm pretty sure that's meant to be comic!Lily's genetic code, which is written in letters. A, C, G, and T, specifically.
