Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

They should have called the games Pokemon Train Wreck and Pokemon Dumpster Fire
I assume the possible third version will be Pokemon Plane Crash.

Focus your eyes on the apes back, the laziness is legendary.
I wonder how much focus it was on testing the game on with some of these problems and errors because it looks half-assed.

Softlock uncovered, turns out Game Freak didn't plan around you filling your Pokemon storage in a game all about catching Pokemon.

so its a race now to see what happens first USWSH adding all the mons back, or having a hacker take time to convert the USM models and fix all the issues with that models textures and animations being glitched in import in a Project M style mod, and we are off.
If I worked at GF I would be blasting this in the offices as we worked on it at this point

Completed it after 17 hours. It wasn't too bad, honestly didn't see many broken animations or "jump" as an attack. The new way the pokedex recommends and tracks where to go and catch pokemon is nice, but the end-game of the wild area is sort of hit/miss. Sure, I can ride around catching random pokemon I haven't gotten so far, but it's completely up the air, and even more-so with the dynamax encounters.

Sending pokemon on jobs to give them XP is nice, but camping is fucking horrible. I know how broken having a maxed relationship with a pokemon was in the past; free crits, surviving one-shots etc, but it's just not worth grinding berries and food for. Also kind of dog shit that you need to catch new dynamax pokemon to be able to do so post-game. A grind atop a grind.

That gunshot you heard was the last argument in favor of this being anything than a shameless rushjob killing itself.
I just want to know how they made it a rush job when they had enough employees and enough fucking time to make a finished game.

You had all the 3ds models as well as generic trainer models being re-used. That cuts down on time A LOT. On top of more than a year of time with 200 employees.

In comparison that was more resources than The Witcher 2 had when it started.

Question is if this will actually damage the franchise or if the Madden/COD effect is in play.

The same people who shit on Fifa and COD for being "more of the same cashgrabs" are the same ones buying pokemon and saying that game freak is special while it's okay to shit on Activision because the former is a small indie company.
