Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

You know how fucking miserable it is to know that a bunch of edgelord niggers on kiwifarms can unironically formulate a better and #woker star wars story than the entire disney story department?

Seriously all the story ideas I have seen from people in this thread have been centred on giving more depth, background, and gravitas to the female and non-white protagonists in order to give them a halfway chance of gaining both mass audience popularity and the respect of crusty old fannurds. When we think of how we might hypothetically fix the sequels, we think solely of building these characters up from the one dimensional drones they have been portrayed as, and allowing them the chance to have actual character arcs and growth.

Well, the thing is we're not convinced that race or sex is a character trait
The end goal of this Disney shit is diversity for the sake of diversity: there is nothing more. There might have been some attempts at "different perspectives" as a form of justification, which is inherently racist as it implies both that everyone of the same race and sex think alike and that people are fundamentally different mentally due to race.

Somehow, though, I, the guy who cracks Holocaust jokes on the regular, is somehow more tolerant and woke than these people. Race isn't a checklist and I don't treat it as such. Sometimes characters are just certain colors, and that's okay.

But this leak revelation leads more plot holes than answers. And I don't want the average Disney shiller to tell me to read a shitty tie-in before I watch it because if you do that, that's lazy writing.

There's also Rey being Palp's granddaughter, which asks even more questions than it answers.

Who in the world would fuck Palpatine's ugly ass? I thought he wanted to rule the empire for all eternity. Why worry about having descendants?

Who in the flying fuck is Rey's parents? That still doesn't answer that question.

Who fucked Palp's descendant to create ReySue?

Why did the writers think it was a great idea to make Rey descended from Palpatine in the first place? I thought this trilogy was about the Skywalker saga, not some fucking space hobo descended from the main villain who takes on the Skywalker name in name only if the ending turns out to be true (which seems very likely at this point).

I'm amazed at how badly they handled Rey's origins on top of everything else in this trilogy. Fans came up with better shit for that and Snoke than what Jar Jar Abrams and Ruin Johnson gave us.

It doesn't bug me, but that's 50/50 because I lean right/conservative and because I hate what they've done to Star Wars and it's fans, and I want to watch them fail.

Most things that get tiresome or annoying I either tune out or stop listening to. Same for all the YT I watch/listen to. I learn where my limits are and adjust periodically.

I agree. I like the guy but there's no reason to write an article about an actor or a director being a communist or whatever political leaning.

Maybe not. He could cut to the chase, but most of the time I agree with what he has to say. Most of the time it's news to me when I hear it from him.

Maybe his book would've sold better had he taken a different approach with his blog. Then again, I appreciate the thorough historical research and context now and again.

In fact, I’ll write whatever I please whether you like it or not. Going further into politics is sometimes necessary, because of the deeply moronic SJW politics that is now being infused into the franchise. It needs to be responded to. Particularly for young folks who are now suffering through our entirely worthless education system. But at the end of the day, if SJWs kept their own idiot politics to themselves, then I wouldn’t have to respond to it.

The streets are barren except for Joker ads and an ad for that Blue Sky pigeon movie starring Will Smith. And the Plan 9 merch is still non-existent around here, with the only thing being a rack of unsold PEZ dispensers at grocery stores I talked about before, but those got taken down the other day. I assume its because they weren't selling. Before that, those PEZ dispensers were the only things that reminded me that Plan 9 existed. Now all that's left is some rare TV spots of which I've only seen one so far.

I mean, I'll bash any Disney Wars writing drone for hamfisting modern political nonsense into SW, but I personally don't care what some obnoxious soy latte-sipping asshole or anyone thinks or what they stand for as long as they don't shove their liberal arts and gender degree in my face and let it slip into their work, unless it has an actual use to the plot that's not about being preachy, and not something like having an idiot soyboy author depict Admiral Holdo telling us about how wonderful it is that she is so "forward-thinking" and wants us to know the joys of soypro, veganism, lesbianism, xeno-lesbianism and the evils of being a disobedient man like Poe.
