Does Ren truly die? Or do they go the route of establishing some lame-ass Reylo kiss? I'm just here to see the popular annoying fandom ships (Reylo, Finnpoe) tank like the fucking Titanic.

The space emo showing traits of the Dark Triad (including pissing his pants, most likely) who is literally just Edward fucking Cullen in space is confirmed to die like a bitch.

I know of a Reylo/Kylo Ren fangirl who loves Ren and considers him "deep and complex" and totally not villainous, unlike those evil Han Solo and Daenerys Targaryen. She's dumb as a rock and I loath her.

Its possible they do some lame forced kiss before he dies. As for his death, the leaks I posted before (which included the drawing of the throne room, the two lightsabers, Rey and Kylo teaming up, and a bunch of other shit revealed so far), explained that Kylo dies at Palpatine's hands after he sucks out his Force/energy/soul/etc and ends up being thrown down a giant chasm (which has been confirmed to exist in the last trailer and I posted a picture of it many pages back). Then Rey summons all past jedi ghosts, and for some reason Kylo Ren's ghost is among them.

Right now, they are still at that awkward "He's a bad boy, but I secretly think he's hot and I like a project" and grumpy façade of "I don't want her" when everyone knows he does phase.

Except this isn't really SW anymore, so there's no real climax or implications to be had. This is just Twilight with Star Wars references. But hell even Twilight was its own thing and had more going for it than this crap.

Palpatine literally sucks Ren off so hard he dies, something that Rey will never be able to do.

Hell, even Snoke probably got more action with Ren than Rey did.

It seems to have picked up after JJ and Daisy did their interviews seemingly confirming Reylo, which also happened alongside the first TV spots and the release (or was it announcement?) of the new Kylo Ren comics. I'm also seeing a slight notable increase of Reylo activity on Twitter, Reddit and several SW forums.

I also fear this may be due to the Mandalorian and Fallen Order. Mandalorian's second episode was more than okay and I fear it gave people the false impression that Disney Wars is "on the right track" and "anti-woke/liberal", when really it isn't and it might make them think Plan 9 is as good as it. Its that sort of effect I mentioned before wherein the Mandalorian functions like a trap, luring unsuspecting prey with tasty bait only to trap you in the painful grip of reality. And Fallen Order, despite its horrible story, still has decent enough gameplay to generate overblown hype.

Then again, this may only be due to easily amused Gen X drones (or as I like to call them, the "Kevin Smith Generation") just suddenly finding out about IX due to the TV spots, since before them, knowledge of the film's release wasn't advertised anywhere IRL.

I'm thinking the slight pulse is more because of the fanfiction style pairing autism than anything else; the red meat to those sad middle aged lunatics is helping to confirm their horrible fantasies.

If Star Wars is nudging up as a whole though, then yeah, it's probably due to Lone Hunter and Baby, I meant the Mandalorian. I totally meant to say that and not an iconic manga that Wolfucker Filoni may be ripping off. Fallen Order to a lesser degree too.

They want to make the story about their precious ship and fuck everything else, and then if the writers cave to them and focus on the ship, the show falls the fuck apart (Arrow for example).

We have a story about intergalactic war, or the zombie apocalypse, or a crime wave that needs to be stopped, and all these idiots can think about who wanting two people to shack up and make that the one thing they tune in for and then they lose their minds if they don't get it (Voltron for example).

(She has an obsession with how girly female characters are portrayed in media, it's kinda like a weird obsession with her, like if being a girly girl is the same as a racial minority)

Well, I found a way to point at her autism and get her to hate Rey: point out how tomboyish she is. A few things

1) Rey force teleports Leia's lightsaber to Kylo Ren...WTF;
2) Why are they using cavalry to take down a Star Destroyer instead of you know hyperspeeding into them to take them out?;
3) Palpatine alone disables the Rebels with force lightning...why does he need an army? Hell, why even establish an empire if he could do all the heavy lifting himself?;
4) Apparently, either they're still moving forward with the cut that kills off pretty much all of the old cast in the Millenium Falcon or what DVD was talking about was that someone else was confirming that that cut does exist. As sick as it is to say, I honestly hope they have the balls to do that.
