Can someone explain to me what moving your house into a trust means/does?

A trust is a separate legal entity that can hold property. In case someone gets injured on the property they have to sue the trust and leave your personal assets alone.

Trusts are also set up to do something like manage property and pay out to beneficiaries.

So if the house is in a trust, Vic doesn't own it anymore under his personal assets.
