What the fuck are they talking about in terms of violence towards asexuals? Their parents asking when they'll have grandkids? People rolling their eyes and saying "ok, sure" when they tell them they are asexual?

The worst part is that survey saying half of axsexuals had experienced sexual violence. The oppression obsessives automatically assume they were targeted because of their identification... but in their acephobia thread earlier this week, an actual asexual explained they became ace after they were traumatized by a rape.
I've been ripping on them all week, but in all seriousness, asexualism is one of the "identities" that is most likely to be a side effect of trauma, and therefore the one most likely to be changed by getting help. I non-ironically agree with the gays who question their inclusion in the LGBT+ grouping, because the ramifications for curing a "sexuality" gets really uncomfortable for them.
The saddest part of both the troons and the aces isn't that they shit up forums; that's just side entertainment. The real tragedy is that, for these groups specifically, the push towards acceptance and normalization is preventing people from getting the help they need to overcome their mental issues or trauma. We've reached the point where tolerance, acceptance, and awareness is causing additional pain to the people it proposes to help. And in some cases, acceptance causes permanent damage to an already vulnerable individual.
(Maybe troons are too far gone, but the aces had to build themselves multiple spectrums to describe normal feelings that negate their "sexuality", just to keep their place in the alphabet gang. Their very identity suggests a condition that isn't permanent or necessary, but holding on to the identity makes their lives worse.)
