I have a feeling no Appellate Court would buy that reasonable attorney's fees amounted to $0, but I'm pretty sure you're mostly joking.
In all seriousness, this whole fee dog-and-pony show is going to have to be reworked by the Appellate Court anyway, so the arguments being made are really more important than the actual numbers that Chupp comes up with. Obviously there's the matter of a surety bond that's involved, but that's not too big of a deal. This is mostly just the two sides trying to make themselves look good to their audience before going into the appeals process.
