Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

@Spectre_06 T Greg seems to be claiming your source is wrong and that Chupp got the unredacted billing info yesterday after the hearing.

So ask to slot them in beforehand and ask for more time or another hearing. The worst that happens is the judge says no. If there really is evidence of perjury right there in the defendants' own filings why wouldn't you try to get that in front of the judge? Don't just expect Chupp to figure this out on his own. Tell Vic's lawyers to work for their $500 an hour.

They did ask for more time, they filed a motion for a continuance. Apparently the judge declined because they still had the hearing. Plus they had to prep for Vic, Ty, and possibly Slatosch to take the stand, and prepare to cram all the blatant bad billing arguments into a 2 hour hearing.

Honestly I'm surprised they went long enough for Lemoine's fishing expedition with Vic, I don't think the judge had the patience for Ty/Martinez to go fishing around with MoRonica for an additional perjury accusation. He didn't seem interested in Nick or the notary issues, I doubt he wants to add a perjury argument when he's just trying to wade through obfuscated billings.

Probably all of us on KF would try anyway, just to nail the bastards to the wall for lying. But we're vindictive armchair autists and BHBC are the practicing lawyers who have to act strategically.

Hang on, if he got it after the hearing, wouldn't that mean Chupp requested it after the hearing? Meaning his source is right?
Edit: I don't know if I'm just misunderstanding this, but did Greg really try to undermine the source by pulling a Shane and validating the source?

Sounds like they're once again trying to draw suspicion away from the defendants.

The one thing they're clamoring over has literally no weight in the case because A. Ron did the same thing.

Also, if it's about the house? Then they would've spent more time on it in court.

Unlike the judge in Greggy's bankruptcy case who hasn't gotten the response. How's that lawyer working out, Greg?

It's possible he may have requested it but not received it before the hearing. As I said, I can't validate what the source has said (as I'm not in Texas) but they've been decent thus far. It's also possible he did have them from two of the five lawyers and just demanded the other three (MoRon's team) do the same.

In any case, if he has the unredacted ones already it might explain why he's going through the record now. Still doesn't touch on the possibility of a surprise hearing next week.

The question isn't really whether perjury was committed but who committed it. Frankly, Ron's deposition performance was so horrifyingly bad that his testimony he wasn't prepped for it was completely plausible at the time. So maybe it was Casey and Lemon who committed perjury by billing for shit that never happened, thinking Chupp was a moron they could just use to rob Vic blind with fraudulent bills.

I re-read Ron's deposition transcript earlier and didn't see anywhere that he was asked whether or not he was prepped for his deposition. Rial said that she had a "phone call" and downplayed it.

That was Monica. How much you wanna bet that partial redaction from Casey after Meet with Ron Toye.... said “and Monica Rial” to prepare for upcoming depositions.

then again further down he said meet clients to prepare For Same, after attending Plaintiffs deposition

It's amazing and bizarre that Lemoine isn't smart enough to keep his vendetta out of the courtroom. I get it that lawtwitter is jacking it to hating Nick, because he's on the 'opposite side' of the PR and they have to, so every stupid quip JSL makes about him in a filing is STUNNING AND AMAZING, but pissing off a boomer judge with ranting about some youtube dude is...so dumb.
I'm honestly curious how much of this Nick hateboner is Lemwaaah's own retardation, and how much is MoRon seething because he called her fat and him a cuck.

That being said, I've been informed that Chupp has "requested" unredacted billing from all defense attorneys involved, with the first calls going to Lemoine, Perez, and Casey (and these requests were in the form of an order). There may also be a surprise hearing early next week that Perez and Casey are demanded to attend.
He should have requested it at the hearing. I could see him getting in serious shit for not doing it. What he should do is automatically deny anything redacted and go from there.

He was asked whether he reviewed any documents prior to the deposition and said no. The only question about specifically preparing was whether he met with anyone other than counsel.

It would have been nice to develop this line of questioning a little more. His answer doesn't preclude deposition preparation.

They're billing lots of hours for what is supposedly just a phone call to Monica and something unspecified for Ron, which appears to have been several hours of "act like a complete retard."

forget who posted it but Ron did say Funimation did not pay their bills and yet Casey billed Funi for something....

He'd bill $280k, which his clients would be unable to pay, and then later settle the bill in arrears for a lesser amount. The follow-up question I wish the judge asked is "do you believe your clients would be able to pay the full $280k billed?".
I wished he asked that too because didn't Soye threaten to counter sue?

They brought the prep question up in Monica's depo. According to her they did NOT meet up:
