Look who showed up in the Digi video.

Oh, that's right Jim Time is still a thing. That reminds me: how long has that weeb been promising to do Deviants after Dark or that Skeptic series and has never gotten around to it?
Skeptic series never ever, it was probably a bluff to get them scared.

But I’m still hoping one day Vee will self destruct, and Jim will shit all over him.

Why does Jeff Bezos own the Washington Post? What's for him to gain? Hint- the enemies of humanity control the press so that they can control the narrative. They don't have to have a bald 'profit motive'- their motive is avoiding being righteously killed in the streets
Man, don't ever alert me with some autistic shit like this again.

I like how one of the only Youtubers to come to Jim's aid is Digibro...

and he addresses the elephant in the room - transgenderism.
That's some serious clownworld shit right there.

I want to say I feel bad for him losing his last source of income, but he was so scant with the content he did out out that he was coming close to challenging spoony for the biggest patreon fall from grace

I know this sounds very inconvenient to hear, but you're pretty much on point. A few of those patreon paychecks later, he basically sat back and went into spoony mode. Playing with his nintendo labo or some shit. Compare that to when he started using patreon and did all these schedules for videos. As clumsy as he was at keeping them, he at least more or less had them.

It's why i refuse to support anyone with that type of service. I've noticed that once you get enough people who just put auto renewal on and forget, it quickly becomes a glorified disability check that's easily taken for granted. If you look at someone like Ssethtzeentach, he charges his patrons per video, but if he uploads one that he deems lower quality than usual (like his latest Evenicle review) he won't charge for it.

I enjoy his content and would have maybe backed him if he just kept to some kind of schedule, but dude got super lazy very fast. He didn't even get the money per a real video but got it every month no matter what he did.
Is he has bad as Spoony, no, but he is still bad. End of day do what you want to do, but if you want money for it makes sure you are providing good value.

The Grifter Jim thing is kind of fascinating to me. He seems to genuinely enjoy making money but have these moments where he genuinely laments doing it.

During the Carlos Maza debacle stream he started to rant against grifters but stopped himself mid sentence because he realized it applied to him as well. He seemed oddly resigned about it even during the Fuentes stream.

I also remember him going on Dick’s show saying that the Patreon is up because he’s sick. But I have to ask, what fucking canceraids does he have thats fucking with his ability to work? Hell are the canceraids even a factor anymore?

Jim is smart. He has enough self-awareness to recognize when his criticisms apply to him as well. Like everyone else though, he wants an easy revenue stream to put some shekels in his back pocket.

I'm beginning to think Patreon is literally a lolcow factory and turns even previously normal people into some version of Chris-Chan.

That’s really the effect of content creation as a profession. Unlike people in old media, they don’t have appointments, schedules, investors, or other obligations to meet, giving the work a hobby feel. Even worse, the bigger the audience, the less effort one needs to put in for a similar pay out.
