They covered Chris Ayres’ lung transplant today, which is all fine and dandy, but that transplant actually happened last week. Either these guys are grotesquely incompetent or they’re trying to cover their ass with a belated positive article.

That's another thing that Lemoinie wanted but didn't get. Maybe he can move in with Douchette and they share the cpap.

Chupp actually made a fair judgement? Well damn. Guess Vic's pants are literally that powerful.

A judgment more fair to vic than we thought? Yeah the idiots are not getting all their fees and the MoRoN are on the hook for at least 160k. As for Chupp making additional fees if anyone appeals anything and nothing changes, that I am questioning if that is even within his power to do. I know there is the appeal bond and attorney fees though that would go with an appeal, but everything else seems like a reach to no longer have to deal with this.

To all the KV people saying that MoRon's team can contest the amounts in the aftermath, are MoRon going to pony up the extra $200k that JSL explicitly stated that he's charging you, no matter the ruling? Because it seems pretty simple for anyone reviewing this result to throw that number out immediately if you don't get charged that like he claimed he was going to do, otherwise, if everything stays exactly as is (no successful appeal, but no change in award) are they ready to pony up cash that is realistically on par with what Vic is currently on the hook for?

Better yet, are they willing to help them in the event they are stuck with those fees? Most of these fees plus BHBC fees are being covered by gfm and I am betting donations will still be spilling in. Will those of KV offer assistance for are they all talk with likes and shares(or thoughts and prayers like the christ boomers use to say)?

Considering Ty is taking a month-long vacation starting this week, it'll likely be a while.

Martinez/Hsu will probably take the lead on writing it. If Ty is like the other lawyers I know, even on "vacation" he'll take an hours-long conference call to finalize paperwork.

I don't think KV will donate to a defense fund to pay legal fees, but even if they would, didn't Ron say he'd never take any donations because a real man doesn't do that?

I think it has been established more than once that he is no real man, but some soy product from a lab. He has been cucked by his fiance, cucked by vic, cucked by the dallas morning news, and now he has been cucked by the legal system.

Now that Vic and Ty are most likely moving towards the appeals, does that mean they’ll start to include more people in the lawsuit, or do they have to wait on the appeals first? Can two events happen at the same time, or
do the appeals happen before the next round?
An appeal can only cover what has just been litigated

That's right you long armed hoe, we got appeals. Not over until it's over.

And that nonsense is bullshit you made up along with others.

No he doesn't, it's $250K. The rest is contingent on appeals which will happen but haven't yet. I guess idiot cunts are about as good at math as at spotting pedophiles among their closest friends.

It's not illegal to cheat on your spouse, either. Immoral, maybe, depending your specific religious beliefs.

You're not going to get arrested for banging someone else, assuming the usual caveat of consenting adults.

Adultery is still illegal in many states, at least as a civil tort, and many states still have criminal laws against adultery on the books, although they're probably unconstitutional under Lawrence v. Texas or some substantive due process/privacy grounds.

I think the opportunity for round 2 has passed just from atrophy of evidence. By February it will be legally too late. I think it's been too long and my personal thoughts are they were hoping the Discovery on round 1 defendants shook something loose.

From time to time the original KV crew does a smart thing and then goes back to their baseline idiocy. The is definitely something behind the scenes.

So can Vic add more defendants in now, or does he have to wait for the appeals first?

Google may be their friend, but reading comprehension is apparently their enemy.

Damn, those are some magical gay as fuck pants. Wear those pants proudly, Vic-Senpai.

Wonder how Marchi is going to pony up the cash. Fuck, I want some popcorn for this.

Times up decided to help with Marchi. Which is funny since she has the least amount while Monica now has a bill at least 2 times larger than her yearly salary.

Oooof. With friends like Marchi...

Ty and co expected a TCPA. Granted they expected it a lot sooner than they got it, but if they expected the TCPA they had to know it was going to appeals. And appeals could take forever.

We will have to sit and wait for what happens.

Chupp actually made a fair judgement? Well damn. Guess Vic's pants are literally that powerful.

I see two major compelling reasons he might be ruling this way:

(A) Chupp wants this out of his courtroom for good, so he's making the smart move of offering the plaintiff a slap on the wrist if he'll just go away.

(B) Seeing the guy in person and being able to put a face to the name naturally makes him sympathize with the guy more, and seeing him give what was apparently a very sincere and heartfelt testimony helped Chupp understand at the very least that while he disagrees with the lawsuit being warranted, it wasn't some act of bullying by a bad actor, rather the desperate actions of a man betrayed by just about everyone he ever considered a friend.

Chupp had already alluded to not thinking the plaintiffs intentionally brought what he considered a frivolous suit to his court in the sanctions hearing, so I'm leaning towards B.
