Death of the Weebs?

no matter how much crunchyroll screeches, they'll always be known as a pirating streaming site. A shitty one at that.

Japan should really just worry about their domestic market, since one otaku spends more on anime than 10-20 weebs in a week. All it will do is thin out the SJWeebs so anime like Tanya the Evil and Goblin slayer will stop being banned at cons.
Seeing how legal streaming sites in the US works, I'm all for anime being pirated. It's annoying to have to subscribe to multiple sites just to watch different animes
It's pretty much the issue between Hulu, Netflix and the likes

I agree. All I did was pirate mine. Better than having to deal with buffering and ad bullshit plus dual audio was great. Sites like crunchyroll are basically trying to monopolize on anime online streaming services and putting the small free sites out of business by demonizing them as illegal when they're just the same thing but pricey. They don't care about the creators. just lining up their own pockets.

I'm Japanese,
I rather we die out than integrate western social ideas that seems to degrade everything it touches.
We hate SJW's
Most people here hate them just as much. They want the US to becoming the worlds Mom.

Ah yes. The tweet from Unseen Japan that pulled him from obscurity.

I find it unsurprising that the person behind this is white.

Hah. As long as socially estranged teenagers exist and as long as Japan or the US doesn't pull anything that would compromise the civil stability of the nation to warrant bans on imports and telecommunications, I think weeaboos will still be around in the long run.

As for the possibility of catering and pandering to overseas audiences, it's a great game of hit or miss as we're seeing. Outside of Castlevania, it's evidenced that the fact that weeaboos, and not including marketing team posers and wannabes, can't make anything is truth. To make anime and manga outside of Japan requires actual cultural interaction and study, and that is something weeaboos have a track record of doing very poorly on. Another factor is the cultural malaise and moral myopia that is outright rotting the West, and if you think that isn't doing anything, think again. It's what spawned such classics as RWBY's later seasons and High Guardian Spice. Anime and manga preaches stuff like the self empowerment of the individual and to realize that you're better than you think you are, but a lot of that stuff flies over weeaboos and even the disaffected public, and as we've seen, no one wants shitty SJW propaganda. On the other side of things, I agree that the natural population decline of Japan is natural amidst the falsehood of the agendas of "endless GDP growth" and "gibmmedats", and that it's alright that anime is in where it's at as a niche. In conclusion, while it's alright that anime is where it's at, it is going to take more than imitation and churning out totally not original "OC DO NOT STEAL". Thankfully human nature is unpredictable in the long run.

Where are these other small sites? I'd rather not have to deal with Crunchyroll.

Japan is a nation the size of California with over 126 million people (more than 1/3 the population of the US).
In addition, most of the land is mountainous which limits where people can live and grow food.

A decline in population will lead to less crowding and make it more affordable for the average person to buy a home. Not only that, but they are innovating in automated labor because they aren't stupid.

If nothing else, trends like this are ultimately temporary and the population would stabilize again after some time.

I thought anime kids were fucking weirdos in high school and I still think they are now.

I thought Actual Japanese usually bought new houses instead of buying old ones. Something to do with old Shinto rituals? There also doesn't seem to be a "back to the land" movement there like there is in the USA, since they trust their government for some reason.

Sometimes I wish anime would disappear just to spite the obnoxious SJWeebs and black girl weebs.

ddlc was a success and it's not even nipponese. i think animu will be alright if weebs always continue to exist

At some point, a western entrepreneur is gonna ship over a studio, give them decent pay, shit out the best anime in decades and call in a new era of anime. It'll spend and earn more money, have more humane work conditions, asians will finally learn English, and the shithole of a country in Asia will collapse over its ass-backwards xenophobic practices.

I'd make an Elon Musk joke here, but he only references anime found on Netflix. He's a normie marketing towards weebs very succesfully.
