To be fair, the whole "Indians and Pilgrims became BFFS" story of Thanksgiving IS bullshit. It's a hell of a lot more complex than that -- there was a big feast, but good relations didn't last, unfortunately.
HOWEVER, I say this not as an SJW, but as one with a degree in history, who REALLY hates it when urban legends are taught as fact. That's all. Just like telling kids that people used to think the Earth was flat, or that George Washington had wooden teeth (what he actually used was far, far more disgusting)
And on the SJW side, I also hate the whole bullshit claim that the pilgrims were Puritans. They weren't.
